    Hi all
I have been very naughty since NYE. I have been sabotaging myself terribly and was dreading tonight's WI.
I had gained 1.5lbs over Christmas. I was hoping to lose that by tonight but having had (in my mind), such a bad week, I figured I would probably gain a couple of pounds.
To my surprise I managed to lose 2.5lbs!:j
So that is the Christmas gain dealt with, with a pound to spare. I am firmly back on track now and hope to get back to being a proper loser by next week.
We were given the Extra Easy books tonight and a run through from the consultant. I'm going to get my head round it over the next week, then I may give it a go next week.
    Welcome newbies :hello: .

well done Penguine and RugbyMum on your weigh ins
wish i could join you both in your successes but I failed and had my weigh in tonight and put on a lb this week. Have to admit to being a bit upset as I have been doing tons of exercise all week but I did go off the plan on NYE. I guess over the the two weeks- xmas and new year i only put on 1 1/2 but I really need to start seeing some results .

Anyway onto a new week now .

    Hi

I have just read the last few pages on this thread & was hoping I would be welcomed into your group.

I do S/W & get weighed every monday - I have just gone back this week & have found I have put on 11.5lb in the last 3wks  .

I have hit the ground running since yesterday morning & am doing the old plan mainly green days. I would like to use this as help on finding meal ideas as I tend to stick to the same things each week & also for support. I am gonna post my menu for today -

Breakfast - crunchy bran (HEB) milk (HEA) banana (free)

Lunch - pasta salad with red onion, cherry toms, cucumber, peppers, sweetcorn, kidney beans & butter beans with fat free salad dressing

Dinner - quorn lasagne (free,HEA/B & 3syns) HM spicy wedges

    Snacks - Kiwi, muller yoghurt

Good luck to everyone else on the thread

    XXXXX

Welcome! Look forward to reading your menus!:T:beer:

Right....my day has gone as follows

Brekkie - alpen light bar (usually porridge, but have run out)
Lunch - jacket spud n beans and vlf yoghurt
Dinner - HM lentil soup (stock cube, 1 syn)

Cups of tea and lots of water

No room for anything else, but looking at what you all eat, I'm worried I'm not having enough

Can you experts advise please :D

No, I didnt pile my plate up. It was a school dinner, so kid sized 'tato n beans :p

I did have a huge bowl of soup though, but I make it myself so no fat at all, just a syn for the stock cube.

    Am I going wrong

Thank you do much for the fantastic recipies - keep em coming it makes life less boring trying something new and yummy!

Penguin - you must be really chuffed over your weight loss that amazing in just 8 weeks!

& well done to retired lady for still losing 2.5 over xmas - thats an achievement in itself!

Mickey Mouse - don't beat urself up too much - you've obvioously had a fab christmas and at the end of the day having fun is much more inmportant - you'll be fine next week xx

I'm addicted to bargains and went out and bought a slow cooker from the argos sale, it was only 33 quid and is digital make loads up to 6Litre capacity - so can make loads and freeze loads! link below if anyone intersted saved loads too!!!

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4228486/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKER.htm

I had stacks to eat yesterday and had a quick peak on scales this morning and still lost 1lb!

I made a lamb rogan josh from sw curry book yesterday in my new slow cooker the flavours were awesome the only thing was it was really waterey - has anyone got any ideas how to combat this - can you use arrowroot to thicken up sauces instead of cornflour? or is there something else you can do to avoid this happening.

I'm going to have a green day today for a change as I think I OD'd on meat yesterday!LOL!!!!

    Meal plan for today

    Brekkie
    ww prune yoghurt
    1 orange
    plain omlette

    lunch
    potato hot pot

    dinner
    veggie curry
    brown rice
    ww desert yoghurt

Also just a quick question are olives in brine ok to eat as free food?

must go and get kids ready

    have a great day everyone

    xxx
