  • Whoops had a slight slip up yesterday.

I met my Boss for coffee and he had already bought me a huge hot chocolate with all the cream on top - so that went down the hatch. Then later on I met him for a drink which turned into about a bottle and a half of wine, a bowl of chips and a burger on the way home.

I will be much better behaved today, I have a fish pie out of the freezer which I was supposed to have yesterday and I am also going shopping for some fruit and veg etc.

Hope everyone has a good weekend ;)

  • i'm trying to do a combination of SW extra easy and Paul McKennas rules. I know the SW way is you can eat as much as you want of free foods but the science behind it is to eat these freely but stop when you are full, so i am doing that, im not going to post my weightloss for a couple of weeks im going to try and go by my clothes especially the ones that got a bit too tight over the christmas period.
I will still be here following retired lady's meal plans :rotfl:but might not post for a while unless i can help at all.
So wish me luck and ill report my weightloss:o in a couple of weeks.

  • I'm trying the same Northern lass. I'm trying to eat very slowly and stop as soon as I feel full. I'm stopping what I'm doing whilst I eat (mostly being on the PC working or watching TV at night), I'm going to see how it goes. I'm definitely eating less, I know SW say eat as much as you want, but the reality of me doing that is why I grind to a halt after about 3 weeks, weight loss wise!

Here is my plan for the day. The problem I am having at the moment is that I plan a nice menu and eat it all - then go mad in the evenings and nibble nibble nibble:mad::o
Can't see me losing weight this week:(

Breakfast - eggs, bacon and hashbrowns (free+4.5 syns)
Lunch - Butternut Squash soup, home made (free)
Dinner - Roast beef, carrots, cauliflower and jacket potatoe (free)

syns - have already had a slice of stollen and a slice of dundee. sigh - luckily it is now all gone:o

  • Hi everyone - thanks to retired lady for the lovely welcome :T

I have made a good start - yesterday had 10 syns which were vodka. I missed my wine but it was nice to wake up today without an ever so slight headache!

Today I have had cereal for breakfast and a yummy ham salad for lunch - only 2 syns for a tablespoon of mustard and one of pickle. I went to my wedding dress shop today to have measurements taken for the beautiful dress I have chosen. I'm hoping they will have to take it in when it arrives in May! :rotfl:

Tonight's tea is homemade bacon burgers with a prawn salad. Feeling positive...espeically as no wine in the house!

    Take care

just eating a new mullerlight - chocolate orange. lush. They are in a new 6 pack. Some discussion over syn value of either free or 2.5 syns (not yet on SW website), but worth 2.5 syns for something different!

  • Hope your all having a lovely weekend...

Captain cuddlepuss i LOL when I read what happened to you yesterday .. it is a nightmare and does seem that when you start you can't stop but sounds like you had a great day luxury hot choccie and all!!!

Well I don't know about anyone else, weekends are always the hardest on a diet for me as all the kids at home (including hubby) and they can eat what they like they all had donuts for lunch and eat them in front of me erghhh!!!!

As I mentioned my hubby I couldn't beleive it he got on the scales today and has lost himself 3lb!! he's been scoffing down my food in the evening - I'll have to sabotage his portions and put sugar in them!! hehehe

Well my first week of dieting is nearly over, I got on scales this morning and am really happy wioth what I've lost so far 8lbs!! but as you all say it falls off at first then comes to an amazing hault. Thats when I'll start having a go at the Paul McKenna thingy!

had bacon and eggs this morning
Left over chilli for lunch and just got a creamy chicken curry in the slow cooker I'll pop the recipe on next week as haven't got a lot of time at mo

Oh must go DD just walked past and left me a little present in her nappy ...oh JOY!!!

  • SPW - 8lbs is fantastic well done you :T

I will weigh myself tomorrow but am not that hopeful. I have scoffed 6 Guylian sea shells today, sent by my thoughtful DH as he is working away at the mo. To be fair they were in a pampering hamper and he says that he was a bit disappointed that they were in there as he knew I was trying to be good. Oh well I do love a good praline :rotfl:

I have been food shopping so will be much more organised this week. I have just had a Lemon and Passionfruit Mullerlite and am luvvin them. I also have some lemon and lime jelly setting in the fridge so should be sorted for sweet temptations for a bit.
