  • Good morning all (Or actually - Good Afternoon....)

How are we all today? Yesterday didn't go too badly at all:

Brekkie: 2 slices WM toast (HEB), spread with Flora Light (Syns?), Natural Yoghurt (Free), 1 pint of water.

Lunch: Oriental Pork and Vegetable Salad (Free). 1 Can diet Pepsi (Free)

Dinner: Salmon and Herb Pie with Cauliflower (Syns?)

Snack: 4 Crackerbreads, spread with Flora Light (Syns?), Options Hot Chocolate made with Milk (2 Syns, HEA)

    Exercise: 45 Min Spin Class.

    xx
  • Today I reckon I can safely call my eating plan - as my boyf is making dinner tonight and he's under strict instructions as to what to make......

Brekkie: 2 Slices WM Toast (HEB), Spread with Flora Light (Syns?), and with 1 Slice cold meat (Free). Muller Light Yoghurt (Free). 1 Pint of water.

Lunch: HM Veg Soup, Fruit - Melon and Pineapple (Free) + Drink (Free)

Dinner: SW Chicken Tikka Masala (Syns? - forgot to check and Boyf has recipe)

Snacks: Nada - as I'll be out

Exercise: Nada - again as I'll be out!

I've not done so well on logging exact Syn values this week - but I've done pretty well at getting my appetite down again, and getting over the craving for chocolate/milk/white bread and general junk. So next week I'll be much more strict - and also try up the ante with the exercise!

Does anyone know the Syn value of Flora Light Spread - and Crackerbreads? (If they're not used as HEB?). I don't have access to the on-line Syn calculator yet, but mum's gonna go back to the class next week, and we'll just half the cost, so that she has the added incentive of the weekly weigh in, and I'll get access to everything I need on-line! ;)

Also, does anyone have any brekkie suggestions, which are quick, but which don't involved bread or cereal?

I'm trying out Paul McKenna's tips after watching some of the programmes on Living. They are mostly common sense, but I'm really going to slow down my rate of eating, it's true, sit at the PC and the food has gone before I've even realised it whilst eating! Also going to keep trying his 'tapping' method to overcome boredom eating.

    Food today

b: WW prune yoghurt with banana
l: Not sure yet, probably something with butter beans, possibly pasta, tomatoes
d:chicken with rice, roasted peppers, onions, butternut squash, tomatoes and chillis

HEB and HEA will be my mid-afternoon porridge with a syn or so spent on cherry jam.

Omelette. Ready in less than 2 minutes - add torn up ham to it.

Thanks BB - I'll give that a go next week! I'm hopefully going to climb my first mountain tomorrow - actually it's a Monroe - and I must be mad - especially at this time of year - but every bit of exercise and fresh air helps!! Means I'll probably be looking for something quite filling for brekkie to keep me going!!

Does anyone know if the mullerlight, layered fat free yoghurts are free as well?

Thanks Nic - I don't - but I'll have a look! I suppose the more resources we use the better!!

Thanks for the luck - I'll need it! I'm by far not the fittest of people - but we've decided to give it a go and just take it at our own pace - and my boyf is a bit more experienced in these kind of things - so hopefully we won't run into any problems

I think the layered Mullerlights are something like 1 syn or 1.5 syn depending on which one because of the jam at the bottom.
