He trotted out his phrase he always says 'only 4 pounds? I'm not being funny but it should be dropping off you'.
!!!!!!... .....it was the first week.............does he think I weigh 40 stone or something - nothing wrong with 4 pounds!!
I said 'Please don't say that. It is very de-motivating'. He just said 'well, it should be'. So I repeated 'please don't say that. It is very de-motivating'.
What a big jobbie - how dare he speak to you like that! 4lbs is a fab loss - and he obviously doesn't find it that easy himself or he wouldn't need to be losing any weight! - He's probably just worried about how hot you're gonna look when you've lost the weight, in case you trade him in for a better model!
You're doing well BB - and you should be proud of yourself! there'll be nothing more satisfying than the look (of pure envy) on his face when you're a skinny minnie!!

My first WI's tomorrow, and I have to say I'm not looking forward to it! I've sabotaged myself quite a few times this week - like the half box of choccies on Wednesday and chinese last night (although it did taste damn good!!).
I'm just thinking of it as a practice week - then I can get my act together and give it a proper go this week!!
Today so far:
Brekkie: 1 peach Mullerlight Yoghurt (Free), 1 Segmented Grapefruit (Free)
Lunch: Bowl of HM Veg Soup (Free), 1/2 pint of Milk (HEA)
Dinner: Oriental Pork and Veg Stirfry (Free) with Noodles (HEB)
Snacks - not sure yet......

unfortunately, I have an OH who doesn't know how to compliment, I think. I always think he sees giving a compliment as some kind of vulnerability or weakness.

Hi folks. I hope it's okay if I join in with this one. I was at slimming world last year for 3 months and lost 2 and a half stones. Stopped going at the beginning of December, went back on Wednesday and put on 9.5 lbs:eek: . I totally deserved to put on every single ounce of it at that. Why do we do this to ourselves. It will tajke me about 4 weeks to get that off and I still want to lose another 5 stones. . So I'm here for ages and ages. I am following the new diet just out and it is excellent for me so far. Will see what kind of results I get from it and decide whether to keep going at it.
TodayI have had:
B Fast:2 boiled eggs
Lunch: Pasta n sauce ( made with water)
Dinner : Home made lasagne (overall syns = 4,1 HEB, 1HEA) Baked potato.
Going to have a strawberry muller, a cereal bar and packet of golden lights this evening.
Total syns = 14.5.
I usually only use about 10 syns but am allowed 15 so what the hell :rotfl: . So glad I have found this thread
BB the best revenge is success so get that weight off and shake your stuff at him lol
