Just quickly joining this thread, whilst in the middle of cooking tea!

used to go to slimming world and could never get over how much you could eat, but stopped going as the group I went to closed down and the nearest other one to me is too far away.

Haven' yet read through all the thread, but will!

Welcome shappychic fan and any other new members. I have been totally off plan for the last week but while I thought I enjoyed it at the time, having made the decision to get back on plan this week it comes as a relief! I go to get weighed shortly and am expecting very bad news!:o

    My plan today is:

Breakfast - scan brans with yogurt and raspberries (heb, free, free)
Lunch - jacket potato with chilli (free and free)
Dinner - roast lamb with mashed potato, carrots and green beans (free)
Will probably have a couple of glasses of wine tonight for my syns and will use up my hea in coffee during the day. Any munchies between meals will be addressed with fruit!

    Good luck everyone
    Marion

Dont worry Rugby I have weigh in tomorrow after 4 days off plan (I originally intended on just 2 days off plan but didnt quite manage it!) so have 1 day to rectify the damage - dont think it is going to happen somehow!

    Hey everyone:D

I have updated the SWspreadsheet with last and this week, will you let me know your updates via PM please. I have plotted my miserable gains for the last 2 weeks:o

I reckon I still need to shift some pounds but I am going to increase my activity levels and do some toning exercise to see if I can "sculpt" myself into the shape I want..................now then how do I take all of my wobbly bits and persuade them in the direction of my bra cups:rotfl: :rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • hi everyone - hope you all had a good xmas. Haven't posted on here in ages and as you can see from my sig my weightloss isn't going too well and will prob be much worse tomorrow after weigh in. I am determined to turn things around though:D . Good luck everyone

  • Well hello, hello lovely ladies!! (And gents if there are any lurking!!)

Merry Christmas to you all!! :xmassmile :santa2: :snow_laug :rudolf: Hope Santa was good to you, and you all enjoyed your "synful" days!

I haven't even thought about the plan for a week or more now - and I'm a wee tad scared to stand on the scales! I considered it this morning - but I'm ashamed to say I wimped out!! ;)

I've no doubt I've piled the lbs back on - since I feel ridiculously bloated - and me trousers aren't quite as slack as they were - but hey - only one more day to go, and we all get a clean slate for 2009!!

Well done to all you big losers (in the nicest possible way!) from 2008!!

I'll check in properly on Thursday (my WI day), Since I think I'll get properly back on track on Friday!!

    xxx
  • Good morning everyone and welcome to all the new and returned members:j:T

My name is Marion and I was a long time lurker on this and other forums before I started posting. Funnily enough it was as I was losing weight I got less embarrased about posting:confused:;)
I started slimming world about 3 years ago for the first time. I weighed in at 29 stone and 11 pounds:eek:. You would think that weighing that much I would be a very fast loser but you would be wrong:o I have managed to lose about 7 1/2 stone so far and many times it has been a case of one step forward two steps back :rotfl:, however I have plodded on with it - I think SW calls it taking the scenic route:rotfl:! I certainly have done that!
I recently started posting my daily menu plan on here and a couple other forums. I find it helps me stick to the plan because my day is organised and I know exactly what my meals are going to be and I don't panic eat:o!

The next couple of months I am also going to try and do a storecupboard challenge so I might be coming up with some weird and wonderful concoctions. On the other hand I have so much food in the house I could feed a small army for a month I reckon!

So here is my plan today - (the bits in brackets are what the foods are in slimming world ie free,hea-healthyextra A, heb -healthy extra b or syns)

Breakfast - eggs with gammon fried in frylight plus 2 satsumas (all free)
Lunch - home made leek and potato soup with a wholemeal roll and raspberries and yogurt after (free, heb, free)
Dinner - SW recipe meatloaf with new potatoes, carrots, peas and brussels.(free) with a slice of vienetta after (10 syns)
hea will be milk in coffee

    Have a good day everyone
    Love
    Marion
