I have had a chat with OH about the weight I have lost and my changing body shape, well when I say a chat he nods at all the right places says that he doesnt mind what weight I am as long as I am happy:D

The problem is that I am loosing weight from the bits I dont want to loose weight from and I have hardly lost any from my tummy (although I have lost some as my clothes are less tight) but I have gone from a B cup to an A cup in bra size and I just cant afford to loose any more from there:o

Sooooo I have decided to stop going to slimming world and instead keep eating healthily using the SW target plan and up my exercise activities.

We have a treadmill and I have numerous fitness DVDs I will also have access to a new gym with the college I work for moving into a new site.

I will be sticking around here though and I will be happy to keep up the spreadsheet.

Sorry folks but I think that this decision is best for me...................please dont shoot me:o

I'm exactly the same Lou! My boyf's always telling me I look great as I am etc etc, (he knows it's more than his life's worth to say anything otherwise) - But the only comment he passed on me losing weight - was the fact that my boobs had shrunk! ;) And believe me, there's not much there to begin with for them to be shrinking!!

Good luck with the change in plan - you just need to do whatever works for you! And it's not as though you can't change your mind again and revert back to Slimming world if you're not getting the success you want!

It's just such a shame we can't pick and choose where the weight we lose comes off of!! :D

    xx

noone is going to shoot you Lou, it's your decision. it is weird the way the weight goes though mine seems to alternate - one week my legs, another my stomach, another my bum... You are a healthy weight anyway so maybe the exercise will help more than dieting. x

After a few days of general debauchary and loads of company I take no pleasure in reporting a guilty but well deserved 3 lb gain:eek::D

Mind you it was a bit of a shock and may have convinced me to cut back a bit and not go so mad around the chocolates and mince pies with cream (not to mention the gin and tonics:rolleyes:) That is what happens when I don't meal plan! So here is todays:

Breakfast - weigh in so didn't eat before class this morning however it was our buffet so had a variety of foods in class - most of it was not too naughty!
    Lunch - bacon and eggs
Dinner - boiled gammon with jacket potatoes and variety of roast vegetables with mince pies and cream for pudding (well you didn't expect me to be perfect did you:rotfl:)

I will report my menu's up to including Christmas eve but will have an off day on the 25th:rotfl:!!

Lou - I aree with the rest on here - you have to do what you feel is right for yourself. We will obviously support you whatever you decide!

    Merry Christmas to all
    Love

Lou, do whatever is best for you. Thank you for all your support.

I am dreading tomorrow's WI. I know I have gained and I hate not knowing how much work I have to do to get it back off. I keep telling myself it won't be as bad as I think it is, after all I stuck to red, passed on the spuds, dry roasted my stuff, didn't have crackers etc etc. But I drank loads (not everything happy & harmonious in the rugby house), and ate lots of cake and sweet goodies. ARGHHHHHH:eek:
Feeling lousy today and every time I think of the finances that I'm gonna have to start sorting out tomorrow I want cake, a cigarette & a LARGE drink.

  • Just quickly joining this thread, whilst in the middle of cooking tea!

used to go to slimming world and could never get over how much you could eat, but stopped going as the group I went to closed down and the nearest other one to me is too far away.

Haven' yet read through all the thread, but will!
