a wedding nickynoo - very exciting! you'll lose that no bother especially once the stress/nerves kick in!
northern lass - I am always jumping on and off the scales and find it amazing how much my weight varies day to day or even in one day. so no point stressing about it till your next weigh in and even if you do put some on it's only one week (goes for Terri too).
Lou, I'm not buying lots of extra food either but can guarantee I'll be given tons of chocolate, will have to recycle some as pressies or play pieces (difficult with boxes of posh chocs though).Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Morning everyone - hope you are all well! I also get on the scales and they vary by as much as 5 lbs from day to day - sometimes within the same day! And they never match what it says on the SW scales:mad::o
Here is my plan for the day - (by the way I went for the wine in the end last night, I put the brownie in the freezer and am proud to report it is still there:D)
Breakfast - 5 scanbrans scraped with a tblsp peanut butter and topped with sliced bananas (free+4.5syns+free)
Lunch - Homemade carrot and coriander soup plus a selection of fruit from the bowl and a yogurt (free, free all free)
Dinner - SW beefburger in wholemeal roll with spicy SW wedges made from heb portion of potato plus mixed salad (free+heb+free) ketchup & mayo on burger will be at least 4 syns and a glass of the red tonight will add another 6 so that will be 14.5 syns for the day.
Late night snack - blueberry yogurt mixed with 0%total and frozen blueberrys mixed together to make "almost icecream":D (free)
Milk in drinks during the day will be my hea.
Love

i have alot of hard work to do this weekend to try and break even on Tuesday when i weigh in for real (with a new consultant i might add).
Ah - but did you enjoy it though? We all need a wee treat now and again or what a boring life it would be!! The main thing is you've still lost loads overall and are still a much slimmer/trimmer you than when you started!!
And if I'm honest - I weigh myself virtually on a daily basis! Always first thing in the morning though - and today I'm a lb heavier than I was yesterday morning - but since I was out for dinner last night and didn't give a thought to the diet - it's hardly a surprise!!
How did you get on at the docs?
Retiredlady - you have far more self control than I do - that Brownie would defo have been scoffed by now if it was left in my possession!! And I don't even like Brownie's very much! It's funny how I always seem to manage to force down the chocolate/crisps/sweets or whatever that I don't exactly love - but you come near me with a sprout and you've no chance!
Is it you getting married Nickynoo? Im sure you'll look fabulous either way! And 5lbs in a month should be a doddle!!

the docs was a waste of time, someone in hospital admin got my details mixed up anhd sent me to the wrong doc for the right problem and he didnt have a clue why i was there, after sending me for a scan which i was confused about.... anyway after 3 hours of to-ing and fro-ing, the very lovely lady on the desk found my original records and they will send me an appointment out in january to be seen for my original lump...not sure if i can trust themtho to be honest...i was very low on wednesday after all this as i was really hoping for a date to have it removed before christmas, just to be able to look symetrical in a dress on christmas day but hey thats not gonna happen now.
so didnt follow the plan on wednesday either so i have 2 days to make up for and the 1.5 i put on on tuesday tho im blaming my clothes for that as i was all dressed up to go out.:pDFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

That's good you enjoyed the night - but what a farce at the hospital!!! Hospital admin have a lot to answer for sometimes!! A couple of days before Christmas last year, my dad had a last min appointment with the specialist (the specialist called him on the Monday and insisted he went in on the Friday!), they told him on the back of a blood test he'd had taken in the October that he had cancer of the blood and it was incurable. They started doing further tests etc in the new year, he questioned it with his doctor who knew nothing about it, chased it up, and turned out that "hospital admin" had filed someone else's blood test in his file, and there had been nothing wrong with him all along.
Anyway - I'm sorry you had such a rotten day because of it - but I'm sure you'll look great over Christmas regardless!! And hopefully it won't take them too long to get organised and get you a date sorted out!

No real plans for the weekend as I have cancelled my girlie night out so some syns saved on the old JD.
Glad you enjoyed the curry Skinty:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Dear God, that's awful. I know anyone can make a mistake, but the ones made by hospitals are monumental in the grief they can cause. I'm glad your Dad is ok though.
Northernlass, you may well find that 3lbs disappears as fast as it arrived - at the very least a proportion of it will be water so don't worry too muchI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

No its not my wedding, its my OH's best mates and he's best man so lots of photos plus my OH's ex will be there too so want to look my 'best'. God that sounds petty doesnt it.
I've decided today that i dont like the dress i've bought. I got it ages ago, when i was tanned n now i'm all pasty it looks bloody awful. I've been having a look online n i've just found a dress i'd love but its a lot of money. My OH said if i'd feel more comfortable then to get it but i'm not sure, i'm going shopping with my mate next week so i'll hold off till then.
Anyhoo so far so good today.
