  • Well done on the weight loss Nic!

I've still another day to go before my first weigh in! I've had quite a few red days to try and give me a wee boost for my first week - but I'm not altogether sure it's working..... we'll see what Thursday brings!!

Had a lovely meal with my SW group last night and it was the Xmas meal after all:D

Amazingly I lost 0.5 lbs which was a big surprise after the Indian meal on Friday and the comfort eating as I feel under the weather.

I am going to start keeping a food diary again as this helps me to focus and hopefully I will manage a bigger loss next week:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning everyone,

Had not a bad day yesterday. Not sure how much more pasta my body can take tho. I'm very bloated at the moment, feel like i've put half a stone on so glad my weigh day has been for the week. Gonna try and have a red day today to give myself a break, only thing is i'm not fully stocked for red days yet so i'm gonna have to get creative.

Well done on your loss louise, glad you had a good night.

 I'm with Judderman on this one - may even change my name to shuddermum :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nickynoo08 - there's loads besides pasta. Have you tried any of the grains, couscous, Bulgar wheat etc. They are lovely and may not bloat you as much.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Well done Lou!! :T :j Glad you enjoyed your night as well!!

I did have a wee tiny slip last night - I take the guides and they were having a St Andrews celebration, so they had lots of short-bread/tablet and full fat Irn-Bru! I did manage to restrain myself and just have 1 wee square of tablet - but I did have 2 glasses of Irn-Bru cause I was so thirsty! (The ceilidh dancing obviously took it out of me!)

  • I stuck to plan yesterday which was a good thing because for some
reason I was so hungry! How are you doing with it?

    Today I am eating:

Breakfast - cheese & mushroom omelette with baby plum tomatoes
    (hea+free+free) plus an orange (free)

Lunch - HM vegetable soup with bacon and egg bap (free+free+heb)

Dinner - chicken and mushroom stir fry using 1 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
(free+free+heb) with chocolate scan bran cupcakes with custard for dessert
    (8.5 syns)

Snack on fruit and yogurt during the day if hungry around 3pm.

    What do you think?

Sounds good! You're very organised retired lady! I'm doing ok - but was completely starving last night when I got home - had a glass of sparkling water (the bubbles fill me up! ;) ) and a muller light yoghurt, so I went to bed only vaguely hungry!

For breakfast I've had Readybrek (HEB - I think?) with Milk (HEA)
Lunch, you've just inspired me to have an onion, mushroom and basil leaf omelette (Free) and some HM Veg soup (Free), with a glass of milk (HEA).
Dinner - we're meant to having Pork Escalopes (Although I haven't battered out the pork joint yet, so that'll only work if I get time at lunch), with a red wine sauce (I haven't synned it yet - so may be out if it's too unhealthy) and some boiled new potatoes (HEB)

Snacks will be either fruit or Mullerlight yoghurt

And today - I hereby vow I will have no slip ups!! ;)

Does anyone know if wine counts as more or less syns if it's used in cooking rather just being drunk?

Morning all. Had my 3rd weigh in this morning and lost 5lbs - yeay! I got my stone award and slimmer of the week too so I am pleased! Total loss of 18lbs now still a long way to go though.

Had a hi fi bar for brekkie, chilli spuds for lunch and I am making BB lasagna for tea.

    Have a great day everyone x x

I wouldnt worry too much, you probably burned it all off in the ceilidh.
I must admit, I used to be a full fat Irn bru fan before starting SW but now I hate the stuff and prefer the taste of Diet Irn bru and D.coke
I do miss that sugar rush tho.
