  • well im expecting a good loss tonight, i want 2lbs off so i can eventually get my stone and a half award. i have been extra good this week, id say ive stuck to the plan a good 90%, ive gone over on my syns on 2 days but it doesnt worry me as ive upped my excersise too, ive been walking everywhere instead of taking the car (cant afford the fuel) so that will have helped i hope. i will post later tonight my loss (see how confident i am).

Would YOU move into my house to keep me on the straight & narrow?
My kids are trying but they are too sick to care if their mummy gets fat :(

You wouldnt want me to move in, believe me :D

Anyhoo, it all went a bit pear shaped yesterday. Had a stressful day and hit the crisp cupboard :o

Today is a new day, and have managed to resist bad things so far, even though DH is eating a cheese and onion toastie ;)

I am doubtful of making it tonight Northerlass if I dont then I will weigh myself at my Mums as her scales are pretty in sync with the ones at group.

I am sure I have lost again though as my muffin top is getting smaller and smaller:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

  • Am I too late to join in? I did Slimming World earlier in the year and lost approx a stone (Ie I started off at 11 stone 8, and I now vary between 10 stone 7 and 10 stone 10!). I'm being bridesmaid at my bro's wedding in July (in Mexico), and his bride to be and her sister (the other bridesmaid) are a pair of skinny mini's!! So i'd really like to lose just a wee bit more!!

My local gym (JJB) are doing a 12 days of Christmas membership (12 days for £12, which lets you join properly then without paying the joining fee afterwards) - so I've sent off for my voucher which should be here by the end of the week - if i join the gym and get back on the slimming world diet at the same time, I'm hoping I might just drop a dress size before all of my xmas nights out start - and since I have numerous dresses in a size 10, that would be a massive MSE saving for me if i could squeeze my a** into one of them instead buying a new one!!

Anyways - ramble over!! Can I pwetty pwease join in? And could someone fill me in on exactly how the thread works?

    xx

    Ideally i'd love to be 9st 7lb, i'm currently 10st 6lb. quote]

Hi nickynoo - can I ask how tall you are? We weigh roughly the same, I'm 5` 7" and I'm not really sure what weight loss to aim for?! Obviously in the SW classes they focus more on you being mature adults and choosing your own weight loss - but I'm a bit clueless at where I'd like to be! ;)

PS Does anyone have any idea of how much general weight loss you need to drop one dress size? Or is that just too vague a question?

Welcome Crap with money.com:T we are just here to support each other and spur each other on. Anyone can join in at any time.

I am keeping a weightloss tracker on a spreadsheet and if you would like to be added to that I just need to know how much you want to loose in lbs and your weekly losses.

    Thats about it really:D

Oh and apparantly I am the scary one:rolleyes:

Ha ha!! Yeah I probably didn't give the name as much thought as I should have! Obviously I wasn't having one of my more positive days when I chose it! ;)

I also answer to the name of Laura - and thanks for the welcome!! :D

Hope you're feeling better soon!! I'm at home in bed today with a chest infection as well! :(

OK, well I'll start with the diet as of this afternoon! I've already had brekkie which defo wasn't very SW - a bowl of Crunchie Nut Corn Flakes!! But I'll weigh myself now and get cracking!!

Do you all weigh in on the same days? Or just check in with your losses as and when you get them? I'm not planning on going back to the classes, as that would interfere with my no spend day challenge - and there are other things I need to spend my money on!
