  • ive lost 1 stone 9 and have gone down 2 dress sizes and am close to my third, going from a 22 to a 16 (bottom half) 18 still on the top. i think it depends on where you actually lose it from as you can see my bottom half dissapears really quickly so does my double chin but im always left with a rather large top half.

  • No change.
I'm a bit disappointed to be honest, it hasn't been too bad a week, but no change. Never mind.
I just need to try harder for next week so I can not only get that 2 stone sticker but be on my way to the next one. :D

    Gooood Morning everyone,

Ate far too much at DS's party:rolleyes:, but i was also running round like a headless loon for most of the day too so i probably just broke even.
Anyhoo today will be my first proper day on plan. I've been through my cupboards and fridge freezer to make sure i've got enough stuff in to last till next week, i have just.
What day does everyone weigh in?
Also has anyone tried/made the weetabix cake? Was thinking of making it so i can take it to work for my break.

Louby I found the same the last time I did SW - I was hammering the gym (only going to classes but going to at least 1 per night) - and for the first 4 weeks not a lot really happened - just the odd pound off here and there - then it was either in the 4th/5th week I lost 5lbs all in one go! Depends whether you were doing that amount of exercise to begin with - but I think your body just takes a bit of time to get used to it if you start both at once! Although ditching the gym in favour of some new shoes sounds like a grand plan!! ;)

    xx

Thanks Laura...I absolutley love the gym, and I am dropping the dress sizes and my arms are gradually de-bingo winging!! So will stick with it....glad it is not only me too, you have speared me to carry on..

also ...I wonder If I have had the odd extra syn and thought well I have been doing loads off exersize so I can a little bit? So 100% for me this week, want to lose 2lbs this week,

Good luck everyone..hope you all have a good week xx

How did the party go? Did he enjoy himself?

Today's my first day on the plan as well!! So I'm gonna make my first proper weigh in next Thursday! I weighed myself this morning when I got up and I was 10stone 10! So that's 2 lbs more I need to shift than I did on Tuesday!! And 10lbs in total I want to shift by Christmas! Maybe a bit ambitious, but I might as well aim high!!

Louby - you're luckier than me if you actually enjoy the gym! i don't think there's anything in the world I enjoy less than exercise! But needs must! I'm still at home with a chest infection - but feeling loads better today, so hoping to start my 12 day trial gym membership tomorrow or Saturday morning!

    Have a good day everyone!!

    xx

Party went really well. Little un loved it, was hyper all day and didn't or sholud i say wouldn't go to bed till 9pm. But he gave me a nice lie in this morn;) .
Dont worry about extra 2lb, i did the same thing. I'm sure we'll loose it no probs:p

I've been trying to get hold of wii fit for ages with no luck, hoping for one for xmas but doubt i'll get one. I love the gym but with the hrs me and OH work i never get chance to go so i'll be cancelling my membership asap. Little un is off to bed for a nap so think i'll be good and do one of my many fitness dvd's.

I never get the time to go to the gym either, my mum has promised to looked after my youngest for an hour a week to let me go swimming, but I dont feel comfortable in my cossie yet. I got a Trampette(sp) off a girl on Freecycle the other day. its great, i have a wee bounce everytime I walk through the livingroom, i really feel it on my calves and tummy, ive been ding twists on it. The kids also love it, they think I got it for them , and are wondering why mummy is jumping around like a loony on their trampoline

Ha ha - that's a great idea Nic! I used to do that when I was uni and studying - although it was more to take a break and get my blood flowing when I'd been sitting on my bum for hours - but then - I was a lot thinner then than I am now - so that might've had something to do with it!

I know what you mean about the Wii Fit, my boyf got me a wii for my birthday in June, although I've barely used it! I signed up for a Wii Fit in stock alert thing, which I do get through at least every other day, but only ever when I'm in work and the site's are blocked! Maybe not a bad thing 'til I prove I'm at least gonna use the Wii!!

I'm off to make some nice healthy soup to have with my dinner

    xx
  • Does anyone have any suggestions for a no/low syn gravy to have with a Roast Chicken? I'm on a meat day and we're having Roast Chicken tonight, but skipping the gravy's something I always really struggle with!

    xx
