well done Louise, and thanks for doing the spreadsheet too.

I lost 4 and a half pounds today, so I am really happy.

Wow!! That's amazing. I manage to gain and lose the same 1lb every couple of weeks, despite being so good.

I know I'm really too late with you all starting your new weight loss challenge. Just wanted to say that I started reading from the beginning of the entire thread a couple of weeks ago and have been inspired from the support on here. My story is I joined SW online about 6 months ago in the hope that I could shift the 1 stone in weight I've gained over the last 3 years of my degree course, well 6 months later I had already paid a renewal fee and not lost any of the weight I wanted to. I used to always eat the full 15 syns and sometimes go over so it's hardly surprising I wasn't losing anything, mind you I wasn't gaining either.

I encouraged my friend about 6 weeks ago to join and she's lost a stone, I was quite ashamed that in that time I still hadn't lost anything. So spurred on by her weightloss and this board I climbed back on the wagon. Reading the posts here made me think that I was eating too many syns to actually make me lose weight so 2 weeks ago I restarted my weightloss challenge and climbed back on the scales. In all I would like to lose 18lbs to take me back to what I am comfortable with and to a healthy BMI. I choose mostly green days as it works better for me and have tried to stick to 10 syns a day. To date (13 days in I've lost 5lbs, so I'm really chuffed).

My first goal I want to get to is to lose 6lbs by my graduation in 4 weeks time, which I think is doable and if I get to that I would have a further 7lbs to go.

So thanks for the inspiration and I'll tag along in spirit beside you all.

    Hi guys.
WOW PENGUIN! How on earth did you do that? Do you wanna move into my house to keep me on the straight and narrow? ;)
Having said that I weighed in today and I lost 3lbs this week, so I'm pretty happy with that considering the kind of week I've had. :j
Lou could you subtract 3lbs off my total PURLEEEESE:A .
