Hope your Daugher is OK Rugbymum xxx
Its weigh in for me and I am expecting a loss or there will be trouble:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Have just posted this on the SW thread, so apologies to those of you who read both!
Hi all!
Have found a nice idea in the Tesco's free mag, among all their Christmas recipes. They made something v like a SW 'quiche' but in a ring mould, and then filled the centre with veg and bits. It'd be really easy to adapt, and fill with roasted veg or SW chips, or stir-fry. It just looked so nice, and presentation is everything.
I find a lot of their recipes are easy to adapt, and it's often just a case of dry-frying with Frylight rather than frying in oil, and not using flour etc to thicken sauces.
And, thanks Louise for taking the trouble to get the spreadsheet up and running.

Afternon all.
Thank you for your messages of support. Unfortunately DD is worse today that she has been for the last two weeks. She has now been ill for 18 days.
She has coughing fits which are so bad they make her vomit. Apparently it isn't asthma, tb, chest infections and we are waiting for whooping cough results. I know what it isn't but noone can advise what it is and what to do to make it better. I have tried EVERYTHING and I'm now willing to try chicken entrails around her neck if that would help!
The upshot is neither of us is sleeping and we are both surviving on squash (her) and coffee (me) and sugary, fatty snacks. SW just doesn't take these situations into account!:rotfl:
I need my jaws wired up!:lipsrseal
I have been good so far today though
Breakfast: VERY large tub natural yogurt & sweetner + fruit + coffee
Lunch: pork chop + veggies + ryvita from HEB spread with purple cheese from HEA
Snack: loads of grapesLBM:FEB 2008

Well I am very happy with myself this week as I have lost 2 lbs :j
Need to be careful this week though as I am out with my friend on Saturday and the Jack Daniels will be flowing (from my hipflask that I have in my handbag);)
We always have diet coke with it but I must make sure that I avoid having the "drunken chip shop visit":DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well done Louise.
I've just scoffed a plateful of bacon, scrambled egg, couple of sausage and a spoon of beans.
I do feel better for cutting back on the bread the last couple of days.
Rugbymum, hope you manage to get an answer with regard to your daughter. Please do eat though, you don't want to be ill also. Have a dodgy hug :grouphug:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
