yes it is free as long as you use HA milh and su=yn yor marge tho i would leave it out, and mix in a vanilla muller light yog at the end yummy

Thanks for this unfortunatly ive no muller lites at the mo but that sounds good, I did leave in the marg but i only used a tsp (it serves 4) its just cooling down a bit, its been in the oven for 2 hours and smells amazing, i might have my pudding before my soup :o I always struggle to use my milk allowance, i have a splash in my tea but dont always have cereal so most days I dont use that up, so this is a good way to get it.

you dont need quantities spud but a good rule of thumb is to make sure your fluid is an inch above your rice and it should be ok, just keep checking it, if it needs more add it, it shouldnt be too runny doing it this way, you can tehn add sweetener and nutmeg and cinnamon, and then when it has cooled a little ada mullrlight vanilla yog and it is so unbelievably creamy, it is yummy ask louisej, she loves it lol.

Thanks Northernlass. Does it have to be pudding rice, or will any rice do the trick?

    Hi I used
    1 1/2 oz (40g) pudding rice
    2 tbsp splenda
    650ml semi skimmed milk
    knob of reduced fat marg
nutmeg or cinnemon grated lightly on top

bung it all in a small casserole dish for 2 hours at 160 c (320f) gas mark 2
stir after the first 30 mins

I added the marg as i was serving the whole family but you could leave it out. But it does leave a nice caramelised skin on top at the end, and this recipe serves 4. I counted it as free (plus 1/2 syns for my low fat marg) as i did split it into 4 and never use my HEA milk allowance. By the way 1 1/2 oz of rice looks like nothing, but trust me its enough. This was so simple and the family loved it.

BTW you could try it wiht skimmed milk, I think it would be just as tasty then you defo wouldnt have to worry about the milk (unless you ate it all lol)

The rice pudding can be done on the hob if you don't want to wait for it in the oven ;)
Tastes just as good made with a bit of milk and water for the rest of the liquid and a muller light mixed in at the end.

You mean that there is a shop that just sells sausages? :D I am not a great fan of sausages but if you can get ones that are only 1/2 syn for 2 then I wouldnt mind trying them.

And no I am not being rude cheeky lot:rolleyes:

There really is a shop that only sells sausages....actually truth be told they have got dry cure (no water in the pan) bacon too.
I can pm you a website if you're interested. The plain pork ones are fab but the pork and leek ones are totally sublime:heart2: !
When you cook them they don't let out any fat or yucky goop, they are beautifully seasoned.
