    Sounds like a great plan!

I to will post here every day, and make sure I admit the bad things rather than pretending they never happened!

I love green days to, and will fill up on jacket spuds/pasta and rice. But I've just started seeing someone and he is a complete meat eater, so looks like I will have to start throwing in some red days to. Which means I really need to learn what I can and can't have.

Good luck and you'll do fine. I just need to get past the really bad chocolate cravings and I am normally ok, but that takes about 2-3 weeks.

    Fingers crossed for tomorrow :D

For chocolate cravings try making a pudding from a pot of Quark (or 0% Greek Yoghurt) mixed together with a chocolate Options (2 syns).

Or, my favourite, 2 Turkish Delight chocolate Options (4 syns, but worth it) made up in a large mug to sip while watching tv. This almost always helps with the cravings as it's so sweet and takes a while to drink.

    Meals for the day

Breakfast - 2 slices of wholemeal toast + 1 dry fried egg

Lunch - Beef in ale casserole with roast vegetables

Dinner - Cooked ham, peas pudding, pickled vegetables piece of cheese.

    Snacks - fruit/mullerlight

This looks like a lovely day's menu but don't forget to weigh the peas pudding at 1½ syns an ounce on a red day and count the ale in the casserole as syns.

Thanks for that consultant31, its a jar of Asda beef in ale casserole mix. I think if I dont have any other syn food then I should be in my allowance.

I need to join a SW group really but we are waiting to hear if OH is being made redundant tomorrow and if he it then I will have to rely completely on this thread and my own research.

I do have a few old magazines to refer to.
