After gaining weight last week i was all for going at it full throttle this week but unfortunately it wasnt to be. i tried the 7s but got bored so i have just ate what i have wanted all this week and will continue until weigh in on Tuesday, i hope a week off might do me good but am worried it might go the other way and i might not want to get back on track again.
i have to keep telling myself that if i dont lose weight then i cant have my operation and i need that operation.
anyway confession over, Cleosmum, have you managed the 7s, sorry i havnt been there for support ive hardly even looked at the PC.

Hi NL I see by your listing it is important for you to lose some weight in order for you to have your operation.

If you go back up the page a little way you will see a listing I put in about having all fruit for breakfast and then follow the rest of the day through by following the S/W plan. I have been doing this for 5 days now and it has worked for me so far,:j I aim to continue the plan this way in the hope that I can continue to lose more weight in the weeks to come. :rotfl: You may find it worth trying you never know :rotfl: Have a good day bubsy.

A very wise saying comes to mind, I quote :

    Hiya guys,
    :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T I'm not invisible, thank god:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Shal, thanks hon, I lost 3st in 4mths after an awful holiday in OZ at xmas and now I mean to keep it off:D :j

Thanks Bubsy, I aim to allow myself 2lbs up or down and hope to stay slightly under target, hope the loose skin firms up though:eek:

Northernlass, I'm here for anyone, I'm a live-in-carer and walk to town most days, 1 2 mile round trip, speed walking. This helps to keep weight down:beer:
I find if I fall off the wagon one day then I start afresh the next one, so the damage is not too great, but make sure I forget about the bad day, or as you say, it could ruin everything if YOU let it, one day at a time eh;)

Hiya Cleosmum, I am sticking to F & V, low fat meat. I don't use milk (know I should but don't particularly like it) and don't use fat, except frylight, or sugar, and mostly drink black/green tea, water/lemonade, low cal of course. I think cal intake and exercise are of equal importance, walking is good for me.
For snacks I tend to use snackajacks choc chip as I have a sweet tooth and their only 62 cals. When I moved I lost my SW books and don't know where to get another handbook as I don't belong to a club anymore, I still get mag though, great idea's there. :j :j
Welcome to the thread Kandipandi, Keep coming here hon, there's loads to learn:D

    Hiya guys,
Well I didn't put any weight on during my hols, but that could be to do with the fact that I wasn't well:rotfl:
Lost my book from SL, does anyone know where I can get another, can't join SL club now as am at target. keep going guys, I may join in with 7 challenge as I like as much fruit as poss, but (sadly) I know I'm not keeping up veggie wise
    HWGA xx

As a target member, you can go to any group without charge, as long as you stay within 3lbs of your target (over or under).

You can buy books from eBay but they are often severely over-priced. It would be better if you went back to the group you used to go to and buy a new book - it will cost you £10, but then as I just said, you should be able to continue as a free member.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Todays my first day going well so far. Iv been delving through my old SW recipes and founds loads on my PC i'll post one (as and when i remember) here goes:

Baked Bean & Cottage Cheese CakesServes: 4
    Syns per serving:
½ Syn on Green, 5½ on Original.
    Preparation time: 10 minutes
    Cooking time: 20 - 25 minutes
Ingredients: 340 g/12 oz potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
1 x 198 g/7 oz can baked beans in tomato sauce
2 level tablespoons very low fat natural cottage cheese
    2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
    2 egg yolks
2 spring onions (or 1 Spanish onion), finely chopped
salt and freshly ground white pepper
    1 level tablespoon plain flour
    Fry Light, for spraying

    Method:
    1. Boil the potatoes in a large pan of lightly salted water for about 15 minutes until tender. Drain well and mash them while they are still warm.
    2. Add the baked beans, cottage cheese, parsley and egg yolks. Mix well together and then add the spring onions (or Spanish onion) and seasoning to taste. The mixture shouldn’t be too wet.
    3. Using your hands, mould the potato mixture into 8 patties, which are approximately 7.5 cm/3 in diameter, and dust very lightly with flour.
    4. Lightly spray a frying pan with a little Fry Light. Heat and then cook the patties for 3–4 minutes each side. Serve them immediately with some fresh green vegetables or a crisp salad.

    mmmm....
p.s. remember if you eat all four of them its 2 syns for the four (which is what i did).:D
You can stand there and agonize........
Till your agony's your heaviest load. (Emily Saliers)

    :(

Not had a good day. Didnt plan on being out all afternoon and hadnt had breakfast or lunch and was then starving, so I grabbed a wrap from Asda and then decided that a choc chip muffin surely couldnt be too much harm - 36.5 syns later here I am :(

    Sooooooo

    Banana

Southern fried chicken wrap (19.5 syns)

    Choc chip muffin (17 syns)

Apple (s) and whole red grapefruit (ss) to try and counteract the syns.

Just about to have SW chips and beans.

Please just remind me that tomorrow is another day, and please reassure me that I havent blown it this week :'(

Aw, I love kittens, can we have a picture? How come he's called Roger - it's an unusual name for a cat and I'm sure there's a story behind it :)

evening all..been a bit lax of late & no great shock to discover that I put back the 2ibs I lost 2 weeks ago...must just get on & stop faffing but have my 2nd back op in 2 weeks which psych I think has made me extra reluctant as will be flat on my back for 2 weeks...decide to just do my best, cook meals ahead and see where I go - plus not have rubbish food in to enable me to go wrong! Also have loads of recipe books so no excuse really...
