well, here goes. Day 1 of my 10 week mission. Obviously it would be great if I could keep going after the 10 weeks, but for now I'm just going to focus on the next 70 days and try to achieve a 20 pound loss in that time.

It's a good day to start as OH goes to football practice so doesn't get in until late. I can just have something very virtuous and I'm going to do a batch of bolognaise and he can re-heat when he gets in. He can have half tonight and I'll freeze the other half.

My sister is supposed to be coming down this weekend. She isn't a party girl etc so I don't know if she will want to go out. I could do with a good night out to be honest, I can't remember the last night out I had with lots of drink etc - actually I can - it was at Bunny's place back in the Spring!

    Oh, and I weighed myself..............dear god............sigh.........

oooooooooooh, that feels better. I was getting so hungry at work I started to feel hot and shaky. Not good. I've just had a huge bowl of flavoured cous cous and chick peas.

Today then so far (this feels like putting a snuggly old sweater back on!)

    fruit and fibre (b)
    skimmed milk (a)

    flavoured cous cous (free)
    chick peas (free)

  • 1lb off for me this week.I lost the plot towards the end of my week.
We took the kids out for the day to a theme park and OH did the picnic, I had a beef w/m roll, then quavors, then a fudge, then a french fancy cake then it got worse we were so exhausted when we got home we had a takeaway and I had fish and chips, I will have to draw a line under it all!
Its funny but I felt terrible last night really bloated and sluggish I dont think junky food agrees with me.
Today I have had boiled egg and 2 w/m nimbe (HEB) teaspoon of flora
Lunch was packet of soup, I think it was knorr florida spring veg, I havnt looked at the syns yet, please dont tell me they have a huge amount.

Nervously peeks head around the door and is embarrassed as to how long its been since I posted on this thread.:o

I am back from my holidays and managed to avoid all the calorific horrors that the USA has to offer (why they feel the need to supply you with a vat of melted cheese with every meal is beyond me).

They did have healthy options too, some of which werent that healthy at all but were better choices than burgers or hot dogs.

    Soooo

    Here is the damage report

I now weigh 9stone 10lbs which means I am right back where I started at the beginning of this thread *sigh*

I felt so self conscious on holiday as all my clothes clung in all the wrong places and I have suddenly noticed cellulite where I definately didnt have it before.

What is needed is a weight loss with some toning exercises, I am so unmotivated at the moment with everything in my life so I know I am going to struggle. I am really relying on you lovely lot to help me get to where I need to be.

    :D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
