Just thought it may help....basically on SW you can have 2 Healthy 'A' and 2 'B' choices but they can be slightly different depending on the day you choose...well that's how it was when I did it before, so I imagine it is much the same now? If anyone wants me to, I can edit my threads and remove them...just thought it may help some peeps who haven't got the books and wanted to know about the different choices they can have xxx
Hi Donner thanks for that thought I was on the right lines you've just confirmed it!!!

Well done on your walk SM! Is nice to get out and about in the fresh air! I too have stuck to it, and am stuck indoors with a very emotional, hormonal 11 year old, trying to do her homework ready for school tomorrow. I also have to go back to work tomorrow which I am not looking forward to after taking the school hols off! Am gonna make some soups in a mo, ready to take for lunch and am making sure that I won't take any loose change so cannot raid the vending machine either! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Hi everyone!
Thank you all so much for the info, have just sat and read through - think I might be starting to understand it
Doesn't help that I'm still suffering the after-effects of Saturday night - had a house-warming party with my new flatmate  and suffice to say an extremely good time was had by all.... I am now even more in need of a detox and healthy eating plan - ah well, like to think of it as the last hurrah!
I'm going to start on Wednesday and I'll pm Snaggles my target weight loss - not sure if I'm brave enough to reveal my start weight as it's a big un
Sounds like lots of you are steaming ahead already, it's very inspiring so thanks again :T

oooooooooh, I can't wait until tomorrow to get back onto a green day!!
I guess at least 'making' myself do a red day means I'm guaranteed to eat different things rather than my green day favourites all the time.
I'm going to use 1 b choice on 8 ounces new potatoes tonight, so I'm munching an ounce of raisin optivita with skimmed milk at the moment. It's quite nice - I'd never tried it before deciding to do SW."Stay Wonky":D

do any of the long time SW'ers have a fav sweet thing that they have found that settles a sugar craving but is not too many sins?
I used to think artic roll was great the first time i did the sw diet but this time it doesnt seem to calm the cravings.
i've tried maltesers which are 9 sins for 38g - but trust me, thats is not alot.
so does anyone have any ideas?
My fave is a Daim bar at 8 syns.0 -
curly wurly is a good one as it takes a while to eat - 6.5 syns

I followed the diet when pregnant (or at least attempted/pretended to!!!!) and you aren't allocated anything extra - also best not to up the syns as those are the bad things really that have nothing good in. But they also said, if I was struggling to increase by a healthy b or a to satisfy me- this is what you do when maintaining anyway rather than increase syns so wouldn't be eating for 100, but enough to last you! I found that just having fruit to snack on past the first 15 weeks helped. Also salad, with full fat dressing (!!!).CCCS DMP:Feb 07

You get extra healthy extras when breastfeeding full time, if you are mixed feeding or weaning then it drops back to normal healthy extras. As far as I know you are encouraged to have between 5 and 15 syns the same as non BF members. Lots of people find they dont maintain good weightloss when sticking to 15 syns a day, so just keep an eye on the weightloss.0

The SW book says (on pregnancy)
"Food Optimising provides a healthy well-balanced diet...Simply Food Optimise as advised, bearing in mind a few important exceptions."
It doesn't offer anything more specific than that, other than if you are going to class, you need the consent of your midwife."Stay Wonky":D
