Hi everyone, all went pear shaped today... :o

Started off well with b'fast of 1 shredded wheat, banana and a mullerlight.

Then went to a festival and had a hog roast roll, 2 vodka, lime and sodas and a carton of orange juice.

Then I had a piece of chicken, a hot dog (in a roll, it was a good quality sausage but I don't think that's going to make a lot of difference to my syn total today :o ), a burger (again good quality butcher's burger) in a roll with a plastic cheese slice, and a bit of salad and tiny bit of coleslaw.

It could've been a lot worse as there were cakes for sale everywhere and I just stopped at the garage on the way home and was very tempted by the bags of crisps, but I didn't give into temptation :A lol

I have to be good tomorrow!

The whole point to this is to be flexible and that was def a flexible syn day, so pick ur self up and get outa bed and off you go, it's a new day:j :j

  • I went a bit pear shaped too last night, ive always said i hate weekends because i cant stop myself eating. i was really good all day didnt quite manage all the 7 s and ss but did ok. then after the kids went to bed i had my glass of wine as planned. then my willpower went straight out the window i had,
    2 bags walkers crisps
2 kitkats and another glass of wine.
never mind im going swimming with the kids today so i will fit in a couple of lengths and try to repair the damage.

Weekends are bad for me too! OH works away and when he comes home all he wants to do is eat out! I am too weak willed to say NO!!!

He needs to lose loads of weight too, he has an ulcer and refuses to get on the scales to see what he weighs. I have tried to be good eating out, but I am certainly not following the SW to the letter.

I couldn't do the SS 7 days thing as I am not a lover of fruit! Not sure I will have lost anything on Tuesdays weigh in but I will settle for not putting any weight on at all..

Doing the Race for life today so maybe that will shift a bit of the weight..

hmmmmmm it has been a bad few days for me as well with my Birthday on Thurs. I am also going out for lunch with Hubby and Son today (hubby had to work away on my birthday so post birthday celebrations) We will go to either the Harvester or to a Carvery so no chips for me but still not brilliant. Back to it tomorrow:D Not sure if i will make class on Wednesday night as I am borrowing son's car as mine died on Friday and is in the garage .

    good luck everyone:D

...despite the vodka consumed last night! I had 7 x 25ml measures, 2 canopes with smoked salmon creme fraish (sp?)...I could have had crisps, canopes with feta, cherry toms & pesto but if i'd had 1 i wud hav never stopped, also avoided the roulade..so quite proud of myself for resisting so much temptation!

    Today then...

...Toast (HEB) with cheese (HEA), italian lettuce selection & cherry toms...

    ...Clemintine...Melon (ss)...

    ...Tuna Salad...

...Home made stew & boiled new pots (HEB)

I'm on day 5 and still haven't weighed myself for working out how much I've lost so am thinking I might try and do the string round my waist, bust & hips thing to see if I'm losing? What d'yall think?

    And today!

    2 x weetabix and 250 ml semi skimmed (HEB + A)

Half a banana (dropped the other half on the floor doh!)

Beans (ss) and 1oz cheddar (HEA)

    1 pickled egg

    1 banana

wholewheat pasta, tomato (s), garlic and mushroom (s) sauce with 42g mozzarella cheese (HEB)

    Half red grapefruit (ss)

1 Alpen light bar 3 syns

Done tons of walking today, also been to the doc and been told I am not drinking enough (vodka.....?) and if I up my liquids I may find I lose more, along with certain other health benefits (namely not being back upped lol). My GP has referred me to the gym scheme, but I was shocked to find she had referred me on the grounds of obesity (and low back pain). I dont have much more to lose so not comfy being called obese! Ah well, still get to use the gym for nothing, which I really need to do to kickstart this next stage I think.

Thanks all for having me back here, its really made me focus and plan. You are all stars :)
