Right...day 3! Felt rubbish this morning but v determined to keep eating healthy...

...57g wholemeal (HEB) & 2 Laughing Cow Light (HEA)

...coffee with 2 sugars (at work with no sweetner...tut tut!)

...italian salad leaves, cherry toms, ham & 1 Laughing Cow Light, clemintine...

...Bkd tattie (HEB), grilled chicken with 'hot & fragrant rub' taken from Jamie Oliver cookbook (I can post it if any1 fancies it) with veg...

I also bought half price strawbs today, although £3.98 seems a bit steep if £1.99 is meant to be half price? So getting some ss! :D

    My day so far:

Think I am on a red, but only because I have had tuna which I didnt weigh. Really must plan!

2 x weetabix with 250ml semi skimmed milk (measured)

1 dessert spoonful of tuna with a tiny bit of low fat mayo (will work out syns in a mo), followed by a lasting sat yog.

No fruit or veg in yet, will go shopping in a bit. Still need to check my speed and super speeds but on my list I have included apples, strawberries, grapefruit and raspberries. Veg is broccoli, carrots and mushrooms. Money is mega tight but I just dont think I can manage red days as I dont have any money to buy meat, and only a minimal amount to buy fresh fruit and veg :(

Hi Cleosmum, yes, I think you're right (post further up) that we're not wanting to snack. Today hasn't been brilliant as not well planned but also went for lunch with colleague and there is nothing healthy other than fruit salad on the menu and I'm already eating loads of fruit! Had weetabix x2 (HEB) and milk (HEA), banana and 1/2 punnet strawberries (ss) then for lunch I had potato, bacon and thyme soup (too much thyme and salt) and a brown roll (no butter) so god knows how many syns that was!

I don't know what I'm having for dinner but I think I'd better stick to green, although I don't suppose it really matter but I think there was a lot more potato than bacon in the soup.

Re the easy lunches... Do you work or do you want lunches for home?

Edit - Had Ainsley Harriot roasted veg couscous as couldn't be bothered to cook. Thought it would be really low and found out if was 7 syns. Gutted. Had melon (ss) and more strawberries (ss) for dessert with tiny blob of squirty cream (DD1 made it).

So not a great day. Hardly any s's and lots of syns, sigh...

It is also my weigh in today. I only started again on Monday, after my hols, but I prefer weigh in day to be Saturday. I have lost 3lb :j so only another 4.5lb to get back to where I was before I went, 'sigh'...

Thanks Superpup and well done to you. 3lbs in less than a week is great

We know it will slow down after the initial first week boost, but we're all really pleased :T

    Hiya,

If ur having trouble why not follow a 2wk menue you find in mag. follow green days if they are easier for you, loads of offers on in supermarkets at moment on f&v, try lidl's aldi's and asda their the one's I'm using.

I make up salads and fruit salads last thing at night/first thing in the morning, do your jacket pots in bulk and freeze to use whenever
I love chicken ceaser salad mr m's own brand dressing is very low and their grated parmasan, even use their herby crutons, can make ur own, then loads of pepper ect makes it nice and tasty
I use tuna alot it's what you add to it that makes it interresting
Chicken is another fav, but take the skin off
Baked beans are great on a green day and can go with anything to make a meal,(nice in a jacket)
sw hm chips are great and easy to make
frozen grapes use as sweets, banana frozen on sticks, could even dip in Very small bit of melted choc, ownbrand in mr m's 23p, if you can't trust yourself with choc, break up and freeze to be used sparingly
On a low budget I used to have great trouble but while the shop war is on, go for it and enjoy.

Some good tips there HWGA I love HM slimming world chips with a dippy egg fried in fry lite and some mushy peas.........all free on green.

Never tried the frozen fruit though, will give that a try I think as I always crave something sweet after I have ham my main meal.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
