Weller is one of the regulars on DWF and she very suddenly and shockingly lost her husband yesterday morning after he had been given the all clear by the hospital.
The whole board is reeling from the sad news. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

my thoughts are with Weller and her family .
I had my weigh in last night and surprisingly lost 3lbs this week:D I got my 1/2 stone award which i am really pleased about. I don't have a chance this week as it is my birthday today and have a few birthday meals lined up this week but i will try to be goooooood.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
Poor Weller, although I don't know her (I don't think I've posted on this thread before) my thoughts are with her and her family - what a sad thing to happen.
My name is Lowri and I've been following slimming world since the beginning of June. I've been reading this thread with great interest as I'm trying to be as frugal as possible (not easy these days!). I do try and follow the DFW mantra too! Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, but not sure what's best to say in the circumstances.

northernlass wrote: »me too but all my group is doing it so its kinda competetive now:D i will keep plodding on, try not to eat all of the punnet of strawberries just ahve a couple it still counts as a SS food.
im off to plan for today now and i will let you know how day 2 goes tonight:o
Ah, wish I'd seen this before I scoffed another punnet of raspberries
1 shredded wheat (HEB) and milk (HEA)
Had leftovers from dinner yesterday for lunch today
Quorn bolognese (3 x ss and 6 x s)
3 x light laughing cow triangles (HEA)
2 x bananas
raspberries (ss)
1 barley sugar (1 syn?)
Dinner will be SW chips, egg and mushy peas (ss) and I may have a couple of slices of nimble with a laughing cow triangle on it instead of butter for my other (HEB)
Will try and have some melon (ss) and a kiwi (s) which will take me to the grand total of 5 x ss and 7 x s. If I can find any more strawberries in the fridge, I could possibly squeeze in another ss.
Sshhh but early indications show (not me jumping on the scales mid week of course:whistle: ) that I may have lost half of the weight I put on whilst on holiday.
