Not doing very good at the moment, started with sneaking a look at the scales on Monday morning to find I had put ½lb on, put that down to having a green day the day before and kept to the diet that day (was really good). Got back on the scales Tuesday morning, but still the same, managed to behave during the day, but then in the evening craved hot buttered toast, tried to ignore craving and went for weetabix (HEB), milk (HEA) and banana in an attempt to fill myself up. Didn't work, tummy full, head not. By the time I'd gone to bed I'd had dry crackers (low fat), a bowl of cereal and yes, buttered toast!!! I counted up this morning to find I'd managed to consume 46syns, Got on scales to see what damage I had done to find I'm now 2lbs heavier. Really need a quick fix as proper weigh in day is tomorrow.0

Ah, I see...
Thanks northernlass, I would like to join you if I may. It sounds like it'll be difficult to get 14 different foods in on top of everything else. I'm hoping it's going to be stuff I like! I'm not a big apple fan but I can eat them and I quite like melon. Do they have to be completely different foods or can you have 7 portions of melon, lol?
Hi Kareful K, I don't know what the shop to slim or the M&S thingies are that you're talking about but I feel a bit clueless about everything today tbh :rotfl:
It's a guide that lists most of the stock in a particular shop and tells you which day it's free on..v handy! Only prob is, I think it might b in my paper bin as I had a crazy clear out the other day and binned a whole load of magz...wish me luck for finding it!:rotfl: Kareful K (careful from now on!):rotfl:Onepoll £6.85, Pigsback 105points, Pinecone £9.00, Quidco £3.33Credit Cards £3200  Overdrafts £[STRIKE]5550 [/STRIKE]£4550:mad: Catalogue £[strike]698[/strike] £205 :mad:Suite [STRIKE]£898[/STRIKE] £362Credit Union Savings = £200 - Loan = £4005 payments then Savings = £300 less interest!!!Gettin' there!:j0 -
So far...
...2 slices wholemeal (57g) (HEB) and scrambled egg made with 100ml semi skimmed from my 250ml HEA...
...1 spoon of sugar in coffee at work, i forgot to use my sweetners...
...Clemintine & Banana...
...BBQ for tea...at my Dad's so going to take a couple skewers with chicken (HEB), onion & peppers and maybe a baked tattie.
Using 2nd HEA for tea/ coffee
Good start I think:rotfl: Kareful K (careful from now on!):rotfl:Onepoll £6.85, Pigsback 105points, Pinecone £9.00, Quidco £3.33Credit Cards £3200  Overdrafts £[STRIKE]5550 [/STRIKE]£4550:mad: Catalogue £[strike]698[/strike] £205 :mad:Suite [STRIKE]£898[/STRIKE] £362Credit Union Savings = £200 - Loan = £4005 payments then Savings = £300 less interest!!!Gettin' there!:j0 -
well there we go day 1 of the 7,7,7 in 7 and i am finding it difficult to fit in all the speed and superspeed foods, i really need to sit down write down my favourite foods then mark them as S or SS, that way i will know where i stand.
so today i have had,
breakfast
orange (s)
nectarine (s)
weetabix (HEB)
yoghurt free,
lunch
ryvita (HEB)
cottage cheese (free)
banana in vanilla yoghurt (free)
Dinner
roasted
butternut squash (s)
cauliflower (s)
brocoli (s)
courgette (s)
yellow pepper (s)
salmon steaks x2 (free)
supper
raspberries (ss)
melon (ss)
strawberries(ss)
so there we have it 3 super speed foods and 5 speed foods, no syns as too full and both HEB and milk for coffees. i dont think i have done to bad now i have it down in black and white, not bad for day one anyway.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
I have not been very good this week, I have put 1.5lbs on.Ive been off work and without my routine I have completely lost the plot both with my diet and with money saving, I have just ordered hundreds of pounds of stuff in the next sale.I wanted a bed for my son which was half price (I have the money set aside for this) but I couldnt resist ordering clothes for us all.I will send most of it back honestly, I cant beleive how carried away I got.
I feel very down tonight Ive eaten loads this week and put weight on, I feel really bad about myself.
Im hoping I have the strength to start afresh because I really want to do this.I feel like I have no will power and am useless at anything, then I feel bad about wallowing in self pity when poor weller is going through hell, my upset is nothing when I think of her pain.
Take no notice of me, I will be fine tomorrow I need a good telling off.0 -

Aw, no one's going to tell you off, including the lovely Weller (I've just read the thread from last night and have tears rolling down my face).
We all have blips (food and money). The bed was planned and half price. Maybe you can keep 1 item of clothing each and count that as a pre weight loss treat spendy thing. If you've put weight on in a week, you'll lose it again just as quickly and I think it does your metabolism good to have a blow out every now and again.
I hope you feel better tomorrow x x x0 -
northernlass, omg, how hard is it to get all of those 's's in!?
Green day:
1 shredded wheat (HEB) and milk (HEA)
Banana
punnet strawberries (ss)
3 light babybel (HEA)
Somerfield noodle sh1te pot thingy (about 1/2 a syn and vile)
punnet raspberries (ss)
mullerlight
'Bolognese' (I use the term loosely as I threw as many 's's in as I could and it didn't really resemble bolognese by the time I finished but it was nice)
Quorn mince (ss)
passata (s)
onion (s)
carrots (s)
baked beans (ss)
mixed beans (ss/s)
lentils (s)
peppers (s)
tomato puree ?
mushrooms (s)
wholewheat pasta
28g low fat cheese (HEB) - I know I could've had more but that was enough
Was going to put peas in but they were buried deep and I didn't fancy the freezer burn.
I was also going to have some melon and a kiwi tonight but I haven't wanted anything else.
So... 5 ss and 6 s. I really don't know how I'm going to keep up with this for a week. I reckon it's going to cost me a fortune in soft fruit! Only 1/2 a syn for lunch and whatever a vending machine cappuccino is. Same as you NL, no room for anything else!
I'm going to have another green day tomorrow as I've got leftovers from dinner. That should take care of some of the 's's again tomorrow. It's very hard... I think I agreed to this far too quickly...
