1.5lb off for me at SW tonight...consultant poorly so I didn't stay for the talk this week..
Thats 5lbs in two weeks so I am pretty pleased. If I lose 2lb next week that will be my first half stone award.......:p
Not sure the little packet of maltesers will help tonight, but that is my only syn today. Need to meal plan more though as I don't really feel like I am eating enough free food.

Hi all i stayed the same this week and im pleased with that, i have not stuck to the plan at all with my dad being so poorly but he is picking up great now so i bought myself a 6 week countdown as an incentive, i also have another reason for needing to lose weight i need an operation to remove a 14cm lump i have in my stomache and they wont operate until it is safe to do so, so i need to lose as much as i can in 6 months.
Girlie joined my group tonight so we have each other for support, she bought a countdown too.
My consultant gave us all a challenge tonight to follow for the week, what you have to do is eat 7 speed foods a day, 7 superspeed foods a day and only have 7 syns a day for 7 days, your healthy extras stay the same, apparently it has a great success rate so im going at it full speed ahead from tomorrow morning so wish me luck and if theres anyone else who wants to join me it will be great to compare our losses next week.
well done to all the losses....DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Hi Northernlass, what's a 6 week countdown? I don't mind joining you on the 7 day thingy but I have no idea what a speed and superspeed food is.
I forgot to say yesterday that I did my first official weigh in after my holiday and I was 11 stone:eek: so 7.5lb on altogether
Oh well, onwards and downwards...
Had a second red day. Worked out that my syns were either 15 or 16 yesterday so not bad for a birthday celebration.
Today I had weetabix x2 (HEB) and milk (HEA)
Banana, nectarine, grapes
Lunch - leftover mashed butternut squash and swede, pack of Morrisons good for you chicken tikka slices, salad, fat free dressing.
Dinner - lamb cutlets, roasted butternut squash, carrots and peppers, soy sauce and a bit of mint sauce (1 syn)
Colleague bought some low fat carrot cake slices which were 4.5 syns each and had one of them. Work bought us bags of sweets to share today and I eschewed them with a firm hand :A
Does anyone know how many syns are in a vending machine cappuccino please? I can't find it anywhere.
Green day tomorrow and will then go for another red day. Feeling a bit better today so I reckon I'll be be up for exercising starting next week.

Hi Northernlass, what's a 6 week countdown? I don't mind joining you on the 7 day thingy but I have no idea what a speed and superspeed food is.
a 6 week countdown is where you pay for 5 classes in one go but get 1 free so you are getting 6 classes for the price of 5.
speed foods and superspeed foods are foods which are low or extra low in energy density compared to others in the same food group so have extra slimming power, for example an apple is a speed food but a melon is a superspeed food so the melon will fill you up quicker and for longer therefore helping you lose weight more quickly.
hope that helps, i will try and find a list of these foods and post it if i can.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Ah, I see...
Thanks northernlass, I would like to join you if I may. It sounds like it'll be difficult to get 14 different foods in on top of everything else. I'm hoping it's going to be stuff I like! I'm not a big apple fan but I can eat them and I quite like melon. Do they have to be completely different foods or can you have 7 portions of melon, lol?
Hi Kareful K, I don't know what the shop to slim or the M&S thingies are that you're talking about but I feel a bit clueless about everything today tbh :rotfl:0 -
Hi SP, there are loads of different speed and superspeed foods including Turkey, Chicken these are S foods where as most fish is a SSpeed food, so all your meals should ideally contain all S and SS foods, and the point is to eat 7 different varieties of each food, sorry.
I know i have seen a list somewhere and if i find it i will post it.
do you use the SW website as they are all listed on there?DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0
