Red day lunches:
Tuna salad
Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich (HEB + any syns if you include mayo)
Bacon and egg sandwich (HEB)
Chicken salad
Ham and salad sandwich (HEB)
Red snacks:
Tin of mackeral in tomato sauce
Cold meats
Dinners I tend to stick to meat and veg, or fish and veg. Been eating a lot of beef or pork and veg and using syns on gravy.
Dont forget that you can include things like wholewheat pasta as a HEB if you fancy, so you could have a tuna pasta salad for lunch, or include some new potatoes. You could even have a tuna jacket potato and have the potato as a HEB.0 -
Well, I ventured on the Wii Fit this weekend for the first time in ages. I wanted to get a true figure on the amount of weight I have put on since I did SW last year.
Of the 3 stone I lost, I've put a horrendous 1st 6lbs back on
Oh well, at least I now have a starting point for doing it all over again ehh. Only this time, I wont be daft enough to 'take a break for a week' only for it to last over 6 blimmin months :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hey Spud!
How are things going?
Had a sneaky peak at the scales this morning and I have somehow lost 2lbs so far!!
Not sure how, had a stressful weekend, cat hit by car etc, so food hasn't been great.
Getting better now though and will be at home for the next 2 days.
Oh and lets never take a week off as it is never a week!!! But at least you know what needs to be done now.
Do you feel any better about it?Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Lucy, I bet you've had an awful weekend.
I'm gutted that the work I did has gone to waste, but I cant change that now can I
I've just got to learn by my mistakes and move on.
We've been really good this weekend but I'm not going to weigh again till Friday. Fingers crossed for us both this week.
Hope Bertie makes a speedy recoveryIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

You have done great, it could have been the whole 3 stone, or even more, so well done on getting back on it now. I lost 2 stone last time and before I knew it I had put it all back on and another half a stone, just for good measure. NEVER going there again!0

Thanks Cleosmum
Don't worry Spud, I don't think that's too bad a weight increase over 6 months. I put half a stone on in 2 weeks. I bet it will drop off once you get going again.
Sorry about your cat Lucy x
I've had quite a goodish day I think. Weetabix x 2 (HEB) and milk (HEA), 6 ryvita crackerbread (HEB), marmite and 3 light babybel (HEA), banana, nectarine and grapes.
DD1 requested bangers and mash for her b'day dinner. I was going to say 'what the hell, I'll worry about it tomorrow' but changed my mind and bought some 'black farmer'? sausages from Morrissons which were 90% fat and gluten free so I don't think they were too many syns. I had mine with butternut squash and swede mashed with a bit of fromage frais. We both had steamed carrots and courgettes and bisto onion gravy (syns?)
So I'm calling today a red day and I'm hoping I did okay.
Oh, and I had pudding2 digestive biscuits crushed with about 10 mandarin segments and topped with a Morrissons low fat orange jaffa yogurt (could've been a lot worse, was fancying a creme brulee
).
Probably gone over but considering the circumstances, I don't think it was too bad.
I'm going to have another red day tomorrow and then alternate. I've bought some packs of chicken (bbq and tikka) and I'm going to make a salad to take in tomorrow. I have some lamb cutlets I bought on Whoopsie from ASDA the other day so they'll do for dinner if I remember to get them out of the freezer.0 -
Have run another 4 miles tonight, so I am lying in bed knackered. Wish I could feel my legs.....
