    Hi SP, there are loads of different speed and superspeed foods including Turkey, Chicken these are S foods where as most fish is a SSpeed food, so all your meals should ideally contain all S and SS foods, and the point is to eat 7 different varieties of each food, sorry.
    I know i have seen a list somewhere and if i find it i will post it.
    do you use the SW website as they are all listed on there?

    Oh duh! I can get onto it sometimes thanks to a colleague. I will have a look now quickly and work out what I can have tomorrow. Shall I weigh in tomorrow morning so that we can do it for 7 days from then? (I'm not great with fish, I hope there are other SSpeed choices :eek:

    sp x

    Edit - I can find some Speed foods but not SSpeed foods. I'm looking in features. I don't think there's a list. I'll probably have to start on Thursday as I won't have time to check in tomorrow.

    Edit 2 - I may have found enough info to get me through tomorrow. I can do the S choice easily but I've found a load of fruit for the SS. If I have Melon, raspberries, strawberries, grapefruit (yuk) and some fish (double yuk), then I only have to find 2 more. As I'm having a green day tomorrow, I think I'll have to have something other than cereal for b'fast as I'll need my HEBs for fish. Wondering what I'm letting myself in for...

    My consultant was ill last night and I went to an early group to weigh in. As I didn't know anyone I didn't stay (had my little one with me too!). the 7 day plan looks good, will have to write it down and try to stick to it.

    Green day today for me.

    Breakfast - 2 poached egg with white bread and butter hah! (

    lunch - baked potatoe baked beans and 42g of half fat cheese

    Snack - cottage cheese with onion and chive. Banana

    Tea - want to make a carbonara with quark - does anyone have a recipe??
    Off to work out which are S and which are SS

    S = speed food

    SS = Super speed food!!!

    No recipe, but I sometimes make a version I did at uni, which is HE B bacon, mixed into spag with egg, garlic and pepper. really simple and free!

    Hmmm... I feel lunch in there!

    and mushrooms too! What about the sauce... The SW website says to use fromage frais, but I am not too keen.

    Does anyone know if carbonara sauce can be made with Quark..:rolleyes:

    I've used Quark in cooking, and it tastes fine, but has a bit of a 'bitty' texture - I think it sort of separates a bit - maybe just stir it in right at the end, would that work? We need Keren back on board really, with some cooking tips...lol.
