Lucy,
Been there done that, haven't we all. But every day is a new day and as long as they are mostly good then you'll get there, bring on the size 12/14
L went to a family do the other day (which is ususlly hard for me as they will keep trying to feed me up??????) Mingled so didn't get a chance to eat and no one notice food intake, this works for me.

Hey Guys.
I have taken a couple of days out and I've been thinking.
And as a result i have also been eating    And the end result, I am fat, horrible and everything hurts:rolleyes:.
So what am I going to do about it, because I can't carry on like this. I was chatting to a friend last night and my exact words were
'well as I am out with work all day on Tues, bbq and takeaway so no point starting a diet until at least Weds' :rotfl::rotfl:
But realistically is that going to help anyone?
NO!!!!!
So.
I am going to start in the morning with damage limitiation from now:T
And I am going to list the reasons so you can all throw them at me when I fall off again
- I loved being a size 12/14
- I was so full of confidence
- I actually LIKED clothes shopping
- I was fitter and healthier and wasn't shamed to eat in public.
- I didn't cry when I was out because nothing fits
I think that will do for now, feel free to add to themAnd at the end of the day I need to do this for myself, to feel happier in my own skin and not care what anyone else says.
So this is what my evening meals will look like:
Sat - Quorn Sausage and baked bean bake
Sun - Rainbow Pasta
Mon - ???
Tues - bbq at lunch and Indian in the evening
Weds - Quorn Burger and SW Chips
Thurs - Gloulash (?) Meatballs
Fri - SW Pizza
I might even be brave an take some 'before' pictures tonight. Sorry for the long post, but I needed to tell you guys that I am getting back into it, and I am feeling the love for myself to actually get the weight back off. I know it wont be easy, but I am going to push this to the limit and see what happens. Oh and I will be carrying on with Aquafit on Mondays:A
Love ya! x:rotfl:
Lucy have you ever heard about the Dr Hay Diet, well it is very similar to S/W But Dr Hay quoted that you should leave at least 4 to 5 hours between a Protein meal & a Carbohydrate meal. Apparently the food go's through the gut faster if Protein & carbohydrates are not eaten in the same meal and has a time span of 4 to 5 hours, it is supposed to have less chance of putting fat on in the most vunerable places. Now with the S/W plan you have the choice of 24 hours between Protein & Carbohydrate meals by having alternate Red & green days and keeping Protein & Carbohydrate seperate, this go's for syns also, try and keep carbohydrate foods as syns on a green day, and protein foods as syns on a red day if you can.
The Dr Hay diet came out many years ago, but I believe what he said is true. I think Lucy if you really get yourself motivated and stick to alternate Red & Green days and follow it 100% you should find your weight will drop,
Try it, what have you got to lose except lbs. I do it this way and it work for me until I fall off the wagon by going out and having a few drinks and a meal or going on holiday as I am next week, and then there is a wedding the week after that:eek: But if I do gain I shall get right back onto the waggon again. :T Have a good day bubsy0 -

Sounds the same as mix2max Bubsy, where you can have green and red in the same day but you have to leave 5 hours between your green meal and your red meal and vice versa.0 -

Hi ISOM, and welcome to this thread. I think everyone is great on here, but then i am biased.
Good luck BOBXBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
