Bob.
Just thought I would ask, how are things going today?
Oh and does anyone know what the word is this week?Current debt - £16,300
Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Thanks Snaggles for new sheet.
Comes as a bit of a wake up call to realise I'm the heaviest:eek:, but is also an incentive to keep on, realise I need to do this for the sake of my health as much as anything else.0 -
Just on another tract, anyone watching 'The Biggest Loser' on sky, how do they manage such big weight losses week after week, I know they're exercising their socks off, but even the girls manage to lose an average of 6/7lb a week, week after week, and the men can hit 16lbs in a week. I can manage a respectable loss the first week but not continuously like these, there must be more to it! Anyone know?0

Hi tizzzzy, When I was a S/W consultant many moons ago we were told to lose 1-2lbs a week was healthy and it had a good chance of staying off, but to lose 4-5- or 6lb a week
is not so healthy you would be losing body tissue. you may be able to get a bit more information on this subject by logging on to the Slimming World Web site. have a nice day. bubsy0 -
Hi Tizzzzy, the contestants on here follow a strict eat protien every 2 hours diet, that way you dont lose muscle and keep their metabolism very high and with all the excersize they do they cant fail to lose so much weight each week, i followed the eating plan off extreme makeover for 2 weeks and lost 22lbs, it was extremely restrictive and time consuming and the excersise was unbeleivable, it got me into my favourite clothes for a holiday and then i went back to being me.Just on another tract, anyone watching 'The Biggest Loser' on sky, how do they manage such big weight losses week after week, I know they're exercising their socks off, but even the girls manage to lose an average of 6/7lb a week, week after week, and the men can hit 16lbs in a week. Pants, I didn't do very well today - it was okay until 6pm but I now realise I hadn't eaten enough through the day, because I was really hungry and so wasn't able to resist the tortilla chips that hubby was eating. I don't think I will have done too much damage as I haven't had any other syns, but....must try harder tomorrow!
Hey Lucy....look over there in the distance....can you see that little dot? i think that's the wagon - if we run, we can probably catch up with it! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Things are fine, i havent weighed myself today lucy. I find it helps that the teenagers have finished college and have eaten all the biccies, and other edibles....thank goodness:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
