I've been eating 2 shredded wheat for b'fast most days for well over a week so maybe it would be okay to carry on?
thanks Cleosmum. I'll perhaps alternate it with weetabix.

this happened to me with a breakfast cereal tho i stopped measuring and my portion size got bigger, tho i was still losing weight my consultant advised us all to pour ourselves our usual bowl and then pour another bowl of weighed cereal and i was eating twice as much. i cut it down filled it out with free fruit and lost even more weight the following week and weeks after that so it may be worth a try just to find out.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Dont worry Lucy, you only made the decision to stay on SW a couple of days ago, you can get back on track.
I have put a pound on too, I have lost the plot a bit and have been picking at bisciuts and things.I had a stressful weekend in work and then went to a christening on Sunday and had lots of naughty things from the buffet.
I think my problem was I didnt mealplan, I also had a huge row with OH so I didnt eat all day then at 8pm I ate everything I could get my hands on.
I havnt been around here much because OH stood on my laptop and broke the screen so I have to use DS when he will allow me (hes at school at moment). So I have missed the support.
I made some soup yesterday using chicken stock, chicken, tomatoes, peppers, onion and a small amount of whitworths soup mix.Do you think that it will be better to have on a green day as soup mix is 4.5 syns for 100g on green, or red because of the chicken in it?0 -
Thank Shal
I think I need to control my portions a little to, otherwise I go silly and eat it because it's free and not because I am hungry.
Off to see another former class member tonight, I think we are going to have a go at some desserts!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Hi northernlass, I had weetabix this morning as probably good to vary things. I'm on holiday for 2 weeks starting Saturday so it's all going to go up the wall thenbut I'm willing to try that out when I get back and start sorting out the damage, so thanks
Today...
2 weetabix (HEB) skimmed milk (HEA)
banana and 2 plums
lunch - rushing around town in my lunchbreak and didn't take lunch in. Bought a low fat ham salad sandwich in Superdrug. Can't find it on syns online so looked up the same from Somerfield and it was 12 syns so am going to count it as that.
Dinner will be some leftover quorn bolognese stuff from the other night with a sliced potato topping, baked in the oven, so at least that is free! Am running out of food but only have tomorrow to worry about, and Saturday b'fast and lunch. Although, I have 2 freezers full of stuff that I need to start using up when I get back but will start to meal plan properly again then. I want to carry on doing slimming world as I'll need to get off whatever I put on on holiday and lose a bit more. I was 10,7.5 this morning which is 0.5lb from my target of 10,7 but I still have flabby bits so need to keep up the good work.
I can honestly say though, that this is by far, the easiest 'diet' (although I look at it as eating healthily rather than a diet) I have ever tried. So if anyone is thinking about starting, jump right in, best thing I've ever done.
Oh, and well done Chip :T

ps - got fitted in M&S today for a bra as it was quiet in there and I thought, why not... Anyway, it turns out I've been buying either 36C or 36D for years and no wonder they look a bit daft. I'm a 34DD! :eek:0 -
Well done Chip, great loss :j
Not done too bad myself this week, lost another 2½lb, this brings my loss to 10lb. Went into town today and had to keep hitching my jeans up, good but bad if you understand what I mean. :rotfl:0 -

Nice one! :T :rotfl: at your jeans. I saw some horrible sights today whilst I was rushing round the shops from 'non hitcher uppers' (mostly men though). Isn't it the best feeling when your clothes feel bigger? I like it better than the scales.
