Goodbye..........
.....from me.
I've decided the time has come to walk away from MSE.
The support over the last 3 years has been fantastic and I've turned my life around.
However, I now feel I have nothing to contribute and that there are many others who are much more experienced than me or are saying the same as I would so I just feel sometimes like a parrot repeating information.
I feel that I'm increasingly seeing MSE as my 'reality'. I spend hours on it every day, basically looking at words on a screen whilst the real world out there passes me by and it's not healthy (for me).
I need to look to putting my life back 'out there' in the real world - locally - where I live, not relying on the comfort from words on a computer.
My decision is for a mixture of reasons, a couple of them are MSE comment related (1 in fact from a troll, believe it or not) and some are from stuff going on over the last few days, a teetering relationship, a funeral and a few 'revelations' shall we say about my past. Life's too short to be sitting here pressing F5 or 'subscribed threads' constantly. Emotionally, I'm rock bottom and I need to prise myself out of my 'ruts' and look to try to change things and MSE is one of my 'ruts'.
To you all, I hope you reach the goals you desire and find happiness in your lives in whatever way you want it.
I won't be coming back after today, I need to completely break away.
Take care all and do what makes you happy.
All my love
Keren xxxxxx
good luck to you Keren in what ever you decide to do tho you probably wont even read this, and the door is always open for you.

as long as you know where you went wrong and it sounds as if you do you can draw aline under it and get into positive mode for this week.
good luck lisabell.
127 days is an awful long time and you can lose a vast amount of weight in 4 months if you get positive about it.DFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -
Hi everyone
Well, I lost 2.75lbs this week which I'm pleased about of course, but it's 0.5lb less than I managed to put on last week
More importantly though, I realised I'd started to eat the same food again and again so this weekend I've really enjoyed doing something different. I made the Thai pork from SW magazine which was lovely, and I also made some fish (dusted in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and chilli powder) and SW chips. Yummy! Makes a nice change from the pasta rut I'd got into
Hope everyone has a good week

Good day yesterday, keeping below 1,700 calories and eating quite healthily ( well for me anyway ). Had a meeting in the pub last night and stuck to diet coke instead of my normal pint of cider....:A
Didn't get on the exercise bike at all as I attended a football tournament yesterday morning and was on myfeet non-stop running about ( not playing ) from 8.30am - 1.30pm.0 -
Well Done Piggy! Anything off it better than a gain!
Right I have had a revelation.
Today I am 26.
My best mate let me down again at the weekend and I have decided I worry far to much what other people think. And this is effecting the way I live my life, which is not healthy and not good.
So
I am going to come back to SW, I might not follow it as strictly as before and I wont be going back to class. I just want to get back into it slowly. Today will be difficult as it is my birthday and there is cake about and I want to enjoy it all.
Mum and I went shopping yesterday morning and are now scared owners of swimsuits and I am looking at a local aquafit class today to find out when and how much and we are going to start that and walking every evening with the hope that it will help the weight loss and help us tone up a little.
But I will ask one things. Does anyone know of any good red and green day snacks? Something I can pick at when I am at work?
Thanks xx
I think I just needed some time to get some things into my head and calm down about. I was also reading something last night which said 3 drops of crap apple essence under your tongue is meant to help with body confidence and geranium helps balance mood when dieting (added to 3 tbsp of whole milk in the bath) I have no idea if they work but I am going to give them a try!
Oh and I met Vincent and Flavia from Stictly Come Dancing on Friday and they are both gorgeous and her figure is enough to make anyone get fit!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Happy birthday Lucy! :j
Green day snack:
Spinach and feta triangles
Makes 20
syns per triangle:
1.5 on both
Ready in 25 mins
1 lemon
100g feta
57g baby spinach leaves
100g very low fat natural fromage frais
2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
100g filo pastry
Fry light
1. Preheat the oven to 180/350/gas 4. Squeeze the juice of the lemon and break the feta into chunks. Place in food processor with the spinach, fromage frais, parsley and seasoning and whizz until well combined.
2. Lightly spray the filo sheets with fry light and cut each sheet into strips approx. 6in by 2 in. Place a spoonful of the mixture into the corner of each strip. Lift this corner up and over the filling to create a triangle. Then continue to fold over itself to create another triangle until the whole length of the pastry has been used.
3. Spray the triangles with fry light, place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 mins until crisp and golden.
I will try and check the syn values, as I know back in 2005 fry light was synned and will also check to see if filo and feta has changed. I am off to buy filo and feta later, these sound gorgeous. Will try and find a good snack for original and get it posted up.
EDIT: Just checked and def 1.5 syns per triangle0 -
Thanks. I've never tried feta, but they sound nice!
Worth giving a go anyway. Feeling much calmer today. Although the muffin box I've just opened (to celebrate my Birthday of course!) and just bite me and I have a lovely cut all down my thumb now!!
