    Hi everyone

I'm going to be over on my syns today :o

Had 2 shredded wheat (3.5 syns) (HEB) and skimmed milk (HEA) for b'fast
(And I've only just realised that HEB is 1 shredded wheat and 1 ryvita break and I've been having 2 :o and no ryvita)

    snack
    Banana
    light alpen bar (3 syns)

work bought me a latte made with semi skimmed milk (don't know how many syns that was but guessing about 10 syns  )

    lunch
tin of baxters minestrone with wholemeal pasta (HEB)
    yogurt

    dinner (promised DD1 this yesterday)
Bird's Eye simply cod (10 syns) with sw chips and mushy peas

So I make that about 26.5 syns so no jaffas for me tonight

Am quite annoyed at my bad planning as when I weighed this morning, I had lost over 1lb since Saturday and that takes me to my original target (although I do need to lose more as last time I was this weight, more of it was muscle).

Oh well... cinema tonight but will just take a bottle of water and be good.

    Well done Sophiesmum!

Super pup, dont beat yourself up over the syns, call it a flexi syn day and get straight back on it tomorrow with your normal syn allowance. I love cod, sw chips and beans and have it on a green day so that I can have a HE portion of fish, loads of chips and beans. Maybe you could get plain fish and steam it next time? Also, have you been consistently losing weight having 2 shredded wheat as a HEB?

Hi, thanks for that. Was just a bit annoyed and my own fault for being disorganised, as ever! I did really, really enjoy my dinner. I'm not a big lover of plain fish so I think I'll just have this as a treat now and again. It's not like I've eaten loads of rubbish today though is it? I mean, yes, I've eaten more syns than I should have but pre sw, I'd have eaten loads of junk so even though I probably won't have added to my weight loss today, I've eaten quite well. :A

I've been eating 2 shredded wheat for b'fast most days for well over a week so maybe it would be okay to carry on? thanks Cleosmum. I'll perhaps alternate it with weetabix.

PPS - DD1 finally admitted today that I look like I've lost weight...

Just finished my first week, weighed in and have lost four pounds....:D

I'm quite pleased with that but as a bloke with five stone to lose, it could have been better. I'm also aware though that, in basic language, I am two bags of sugar lighter than last Thursday morning which has got to be a good thing.:j

I've stuck to <2,500 calories a day every day without going over and I've done five 20-minute rides on the bike too which has helped. Next week I'll just do exactly the same again and see what happens.

Snaggles? Can you update me on the low fat spreadsheet please? Thanks...:D
