Hi Sophiesmum and Lou, I will add you to our spreadsheet when I update it over the weekend (wont offer to do it now as half a bottle of rose and Google Docs don't go together very successfully :o).

    Wanna - well done! :T

Nice to see you again Snaggles:kisses3: I have missed you.

And no sign of Keren either:confused:

I am really doing rubbish with the weight loss at the moment but have just won a prize in a raffle at work for 3 months free membership to a local leisure centre..............I think someone is trying to tell me something:rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Awww, thank you xxx

I'm not sure if Keren has gone to her Gran's funeral this week - I seem to think she was travelling up on Tuesday.....but I could be completely wrong.

Well done on the prize! :T

Good first day today. Managed to eat reasonably well, kept it to 1,750 calories or thereabouts, and had twenty minutes on the exercise bike tonight. I only went 2.62 miles which is painfully slow but it will be interesting ( to me anyway ) to see after a few days and weeks of this, whether that distance increases....

Another steady day today. Munched 1,930 calories today although not all through eating healthily.

Did the twenty minutes on the bike tonight and went further...2.83 miles. :T :j

    Hi everyone

Well done losers and 'hi' to the newbies.

I weigh in tomorrow but don't feel confident about losing this week. Think I'll be lucky to have stayed the same. Only 1 week until my holiday but I'm going to have a final push this week to see if I can lose another 1lb or 2.

Not a very healthy day today...

28g weetaflakes (HEB) with a dribble of skimmed milk - ran out (HEA ish)

a bite of a sausage roll (gave the rest to the dog :A ) - for the purposes of quality control - had to make them to take into work.

    banana
slice of homemade quiche (no idea how many syns but guessing a lot :o )

    lunch
6 crackerbread with marmite and 3 light laughing cow triangles (HEA)
    mullerlight

    dinner
batchelors pasta n sauce (not exactly nutritious but couldn't be bothered to cook)

    2 jaffa cakes (4 syns)

Need to use up stuff in freezers as they're both full but I have no idea what's in them really, so will have a look tomorrow and menu plan (after I've been holiday clothes shopping :j )

Hi everyone nice weather we are having, Welcome to our thread all the new girls.:rotfl: Lucy and shal and anyone else who would like to try them, here is a recipe I promised yesterday.

    BAKED MARROW OR COURGETTES WITH
    TOMATOES AND CORIANDER
    sin free
I-1/2 Ibs young marrow - sliced 8ozs ripe tomatoes - skinned and chopped
    1 onion - chopped
    1 clove garlic - crushed
1/2 tspn whole corriander seeds crushed
1 tspn basil (1 tbspn if fresh)
    seasoning
In a saucepan barely cover the onion and garlic with water, simmer until soft. Add all the other ingredletns and put in a oven proof dish, if marrow is young leave skin on. Cook with lid on for about 1 hour. 170C.325F Gas 3, or until marrow is tender. Remove from oven, place on top of stove and reduce some of the liquid. Good hot or cold, reheats well
I am afraid the recipe has jumped around a bit, but it is because it is copy & pasted.
    Have a good day bubsy

Another recipe, I was unable to get the second one on the last page.

    DEVILLED DIP
6 hard boiled eggs - chopped
8ozs very low fat cottage cheese
    2 tspns dry mustard
    1 tsp parsley
    1 tbs balsamic vinegar
    1 tbs Worcester sauce
very low fat fromage frais (If needed)
    1 tbs lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    sin free
Put everything except fromage frais and lemon juice In a liquidiser and mix until
smooth. As it is now you can use it as a spread or to fill hard boiled eggs or
    tomatoes.
To use as a dip thin it a little with the very low fat fromage frais
    and lemon juice.
Different flavourings can also be used eg Chilli or curry.

Found this on another board :(

    Goodbye..........
    .....from me.

I've decided the time has come to walk away from MSE.

The support over the last 3 years has been fantastic and I've turned my life around.

However, I now feel I have nothing to contribute and that there are many others who are much more experienced than me or are saying the same as I would so I just feel sometimes like a parrot repeating information.

I feel that I'm increasingly seeing MSE as my 'reality'. I spend hours on it every day, basically looking at words on a screen whilst the real world out there passes me by and it's not healthy (for me).

I need to look to putting my life back 'out there' in the real world - locally - where I live, not relying on the comfort from words on a computer.

My decision is for a mixture of reasons, a couple of them are MSE comment related (1 in fact from a troll, believe it or not) and some are from stuff going on over the last few days, a teetering relationship, a funeral and a few 'revelations' shall we say about my past. Life's too short to be sitting here pressing F5 or 'subscribed threads' constantly. Emotionally, I'm rock bottom and I need to prise myself out of my 'ruts' and look to try to change things and MSE is one of my 'ruts'.

To you all, I hope you reach the goals you desire and find happiness in your lives in whatever way you want it.

I won't be coming back after today, I need to completely break away.

Take care all and do what makes you happy.

    All my love
    Keren xxxxxx
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Had an early spell on the bike today and managed 2.72 miles in the twenty minute session, better than day one but worse than day two.

Looking likely to finish today on 2,370 calories, a wee bit close to my top boundary but should still be good enough to lose a bit of weight.:A
