Hi all!
Im new here so apologies if i seem a bit thick;) Just posted on slimming world support thread but think i should be on this one as im not going to group, not sure tho?
Anyway, i was doing sw in jan with my mum and lost a stone but mum stopped going in april so i did too?!?
Me and my sister have been doing it on our own for the past 3 weeks with my books. We're going to the dominican in 6 weeks so we're going at it hammer and tongues, we even joined the gym last week:D
I lost 1lb last thurs but was sorely disappointed as id stuck to plan exactly, but, as everyone keeps telling me, it may be because i was killing it in the gym for 3 days;)
Ive stuck to green days all week as they seem to suit me and dare i say it, i find it really easy. I've had hardly any syns and i even went to the gym for an hour and half yesterday:D
Anyway, hope you don't mind me joining and any advice is greatly appreciated x x x0 -

Hi everyone, Happy Birthday Lucy
Haven't been on here over the weekend as I've been getting a bit obsessive so I forced myself to stay away!
So sorry to hear about Keren leaving but understand her reasons and hope things start looking up for her soon. She comes across as such a lovely person, she deserves the best.
I stayed the same last week which I'm not that happy about but at least I didn't put on (and guess what appeared yesterdaybut at least I won't have that week to contend with while I'm on holiday).
Did lots of gardening at the weekend. Couldn't be @rsed to borrow a strimmer to do something with the grass so I dug it up instead so I can plant veggies. Nearly killed me :rotfl: Was a bit naughty at the weekend. Had a tub of ice cream and a few extra biscuits but nothing major.
Today I had shredded wheat (HEB) and skimmed milk (HEA)
Banana and light alpen bar (1/2 HEB) at break
Lunch - same as above
Late lunch at 3.30pm - salad and 2 plums
Dinner - quorn bolognese with wholemeal pasta and half fat cheese (HEA)
Had 1 cola bottle and a tiny white choc sweet with spotty things on it from DD1's pick n mix. Going to have a cup of tea and 2 jaffa cakes in a minute and that'll be me done for the day.

home made veggie soup with chickpeas in (HEB)
mixed salad
apple
salmon fillet
mushrooms, green and yellow peppers, tomatoes stir fried in fry light.

Hi!
Well after last week and weighing myself lastTuesday to discover I had put on 3lbs..... taking 'starting weight' to 14 stone 9lbs  I can proudly say I have managed to lose 2lbsI am amazed and have no idea how it has happened (have a sneaky feeling it may have been star week weight) but I am pleased all the same.
But today is a big day. I am going to give SW a try again at home this time, so if I want some I can have it and not worry about the stress of paying.
So plan for today - Green Day:
Breakfast - Balance cereal and milk (HE A and
Snack - Yogurt
Lunch - Not sure, possibly jacket pot and salad, followed by yogurt and alpen lite bar.
Snack - Banana
Dinner - Quorn sausage and baked bean bake.
I am aiming to leave my syns for the evenings when I am more tempted to use them!
Thanks for bearing with me guys, I need to get my head straight and feel much better for it to!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Still chugging along nicely now. Sticking to the calorie controlled diet as it seems to be working ( I've had a sneaky weigh-in ahead of Thursday's first official weigh-in ) and it was good news.
Had a session on the exercise bike tonight and rode 2.62 miles which is the shortest yet which was disappointing. Hopefully tomorrow's ride will be better....:D0 -
well done chip keep it up you are doing great and if calorie counting works for you then thats great too.:T
