Please be careful, people have died drinking too much water. Are you sure he didnt mean 4 pints?

I don't think so... I normally drink loads anyway, so it's not to much of a problem.

But I will be careful. But so far I have managed to resist the 3 HUGE bags of sweets that are in the office (the 150g+ bags!) and have only had one sweet and it's nearly lunchtime!

Lucy, please take medical advice before drinking such a huge amount of water - it's really well over the recommended amount and could be dangerous. I'm sorry to put a dampener on it if it's helping you, but please be careful. I'm only saying it because I care about you and don't want you to make yourself ill.

    That's ok.

I have no idea where he has got that from then. Just checked with one of the girls from my class and it is definately 4 litres.

He may have said litres when he meant to say pints? Advice has been to drink around 4 pints/2 litres a day.

Edit: Just done some looking up and its not so much the amount, but the speed in which you drink it. http://chemistry.about.com/cs/5/f/blwaterintox.htm but I would still stand by 4 litres being way too much, I have made myself ill trying to achieve 2 litres before lol. Stick to 8-12 glasses a day and get lots of watery superspeeds into you, would be much better for you.

I'm not surprised you do - and you're wasting your time.

I know how you feel! I wanted to shift 2lb again this week, but just weighed myself (smacks own hand) and I have only lost half a flippin pound! Need to shift another 1.5lb by tomorrow night  OH says sip water regularly and eat lots of fruit, and I think I am desperate enough to give it a go! I hate it when you have a good week and dont see it on the scales :(
