Bit disappointed at the moment, did everything as I should, didn't go off the diet once though there were times I wanted to, got on the scales this morning feeling quite excited and expecting a loss only to find I had put a pound on. Can't work out why, not TOM, alternated red and green days, only second week of diet can't have reached a plataeu yet, lot of weight to be lost, really can't understand it, felt like crying this morning, have calmed down a bit since then, but this is dangerous for me as I'm likely to give up if I don't get a result.

It could just be that you have retained water this week. Stick it out when I first joined I lost 5lbs in my first week and then 1 the following week, but it does come off.

Are you sure you didn't have to many syns?

    You can do this!!

Hi, well done on all the losses :j

I've been starving again today but I feel like I'm coming down with a cold, which explains it

28g honey nut shredded wheat (HEB), banana and skimmed milk (HEA)

    banana

6 ryvita crackerbread (HEB) with marmite and cottage cheese
    2 light babybell (2/3 HEA)

snack a jacks (5 syns) and a banana

    lemsip max (1/2 syn)

I don't know what I'm having for dinner. I am hungry but don't feel like getting up off the sofa. I may have a jacket potato. Wish someone would make me something nice as I'm feeling sorry for myself :o

Hi there im stuck on something and was wondering if you can help me out.
Morrisons had their Eat Smart 50% less fat cheese triangles on special so bought some and was wondering if i have to syn them or can i have them as a HEA. i have searched the SW website but it doesnt say. is there any way i can find out if you dont know.
    cheers chuck

I'm sorry, I've not been around much lately and have only just seen your question.

Strictly speaking, if they're not on the list, you can't have them as a HEA. If they are the 8 pack size, they are 1½ syns each on either plan.
    Hope this helps.

I'm not surprised you do - and you're wasting your time.

Not really, as it concedes in this report, that there is no evidence to suggest it doesn't benefit you either. Drinking too little water (or other liquid, not including alcohol or strong tea & coffee) will certainly cause you to become dehydrated which can manifest in all sorts of unpleasant ways (headaches being among the worst for me).

However, trying to drink 2½ litres all at once would cause the problems outlined by supersavershal........it's best to have a glass every hour or so throughout the day. One of the main reasons to drink plenty is that your body can send out signals which you interpret as hunger, when in fact, it's thirst. If you have a drink, wait 20 minutes and you still want to eat, then eat, but often you can find that the feeling of hunger passes after a drink.

Sorry, I didnt see your post earlier :o

I would say double check HE & make sure you weigh/measure each time, check syn values, up the speed foods, drink plenty and keep a food diary. There is usually something small slipping through. Most importantly dont let this defeat you, if you keep it up for another week you will see results, its all too easy to think oh poo and have a blow out, but dont!

I lost half a pound, had hoped for more but a loss is a loss. 1.5lb to my 1 & a half stone award, which also takes me down into the next stone bracket, really want that this week :)

Put 1 and a half back on again!!

But I am feeling really positive today so I am not going to let it upset me. Got a right telling off for nearly passing out... Robert (my consultant) said I need to eat more and not let myself get hungry!! Just is true, but I was hungry at the time!!!
