I was doing so well then I went for lunch with my mother, it wasnt anywhere fancy I chose the beef and veg soup, it came with a bread roll. But then mum ordered me a slice of apple pie that was topped with caramel, I couldnt resist and I ate it.
I thought the soup would be OK but when I looked it up it was 9 syns!
I still need to learn to make better choices.
OH cooked lamb steak with veg for tea which was free but I have messed up with the cake.
Im in work tonight so I will take a salad, fruit and mullerlight.
I suppose I need to learn to deal with these situations.

Shal. I wouldn't worry to much, it was only 1 day and you can get straight back on it and probably not do any damage and still come in with a loss even!! But the question is did you enjoy it?

I've managed to be really good again today. 8.5 syns, including my chocolate cream eclair! Still have a HE A and B to eat so may be having a cheese sandwich later .

Glad you are feeling so positive NL, I really am pleased that you are doing this for yourself. Outch on the Holiday though....that is going to be difficult for you. Sending you ~~~positive vibes~~~ to help you get through it unscathed.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I'm thinking of starting to go to a class. I wanted to see if I liked the diet and felt I could stick to it first, and I think I can, but this week I am really floundering and think a class would maybe help me to focus back on it properly.

But I'm worried that if I had a bad week, I just wouldn't go to weigh in, and then it would be a waste of money (and I haven't exactly got it to throw away).

Those of you that go to the classes, do you think it helps?
