Is it too late for a bloke to join in?
Thing is I've gone off the rails big time and I think I need this thread to keep on track somewhat. I'd like to start on June 1st if possible ( Sunday week ) by which time I'll have got the literature, worked myself out a meal plan and rev myself up.
When I lived darn sarf, I was Slimming World's Man Of The Year. Unfortunately, that was 1999 which says it all really. I was 15 stone 6 pounds when I moved up here that year. I now reside around 19 stone 7 pounds which sounds awful but I'm nearly 6'5" tall...:D . At one point last year, I sat at 21 stone 6 pounds which equates to a whopping 300 pounds.
I'd like to start on Sunday week if possible. If it goes anything like before then I'll probably lose 6-7 lbs the first week, a stone in four weeks and two stone in nine weeks. Thing is that this time, it'll be starting from a much lower start point...:j0 -

Okay then. It is easier to lose weight as a man though and of course, we don't have star weeks to contend with....:D0 -
That depends if you live alone...

Arn't you lucky, this has GOT to be the reason that men can lose weight so much easier than us girls.;)
Welcome chip hazard the more the merrier:beer:0 -
Breakfast was 2 alpen light bars (HEB and love em!) with half a punnet of cherries.
Not had lunch yet, might grab some fruit soon as we are having dinner early, which is large steak, mixed salad, jersey royals (HEB) and 42g feta (HEA) with fat free italian dressing drizzled over :j
OH is going to take me to the pub after school pick up and will stick to a diet coke
You know what, I was going to grab a packet of crisps to eat earlier until I realised I didnt actually fancy them, I just couldnt think of anything else "snacky"
Thats good you are really in controll which is something to be proud of.0 -

Spreadsheet updated again - just wanted to check a couple of things:
Superpup - was your loss an official weigh in, or just a mid-week one? I've got you down as a 6.5lb loss overall so far, is that right?

Hi Snaggles, no it wasn't official, my weigh in day is tomorrow (I'm a serial weigher but I know it's bad and I do tell myself off but can't stop)
Today hasn't been brilliant. Not in that I've eaten rubbish, I just haven't eaten enough.
2 x weetabix HEB and blueberries and skimmed milk HEA
Satsuma
rest of the punnet of blueberries at my desk
Lunch was a banana (went with a friend to look at fish and tanks lunchtime and there was no way he would've let me spread marmite on ryvita crispbread in his car  )
Mullerlight in the afternoon at my desk
I have a 'Bangin' Bean Casserole' on the hob now. It is free and meant to feed 3 people but I am going to try and eat half of it (although that's a tall order, there's a massive pan full  )
I've just eaten a citrus light alpen bar (half a HEB) to tide me over till dinner
I have to go shopping tonight so will be stocking up on light babybel, blueberries and mullerlights. Oh, and I've run out of jaffa cakes
