I have no idea!!!
But I am going to find out! I think you coat the base in egg or something, maybe that makes it a bit crusty??

If you spread the mash thinly and cook it on it's own (before adding toppings), in a medium oven, it should go crispy and it's as easy to pick up as a normal pizza base.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
consultant31 wrote: »Also, as you've been struggling a little of late, how would you feel about ditching the bread from your diet for a week? I have been taking notice lately of how many people seem to have trouble losing weight when they eat bread and I've had one or two members stop having it and getting very positive results. Maybe it's worth a try. In place of bread of course, you can have Ryvitas etc, or just the filling part with a salad (or in the case of your sausage and egg, bulk it out with mushrooms, tomatoes etc.
I think you are right about this consultant, Im going to try to ditch the bread for a week too and see how I get on.My mother and I seem to lose weight quicker when we ditch bread.I always suspect I have a wheat intolerance, my OH thinks Im neurotic and laughs but im sure I have. When I have a lot of bread my tummy becomes bloated and I have certain other digestive issues to contend with, im the same if I have chip shop chips which I love.I will try this giving the bread up lark.thanks0 -
Well done Cleosmum!
I had my vegie curry last night and I drank diet coke.I also managed to resist the naan bread and the pudding which was marsbar cheesecake, I was salivating but I didnt do it.
This morning I have had scrambed egg with milk from HOA, and grilled bacon with fat removed, I didnt have the bread and im off to the market for cheap fruit and veg and the butcher for meat.
When I was getting ready for the meal last night I could have cried, nothing fitted me, there was a very visible spare tyre in every top I put on, I ended up wearing a checked smock style top in red and white, and when we got to the restaurant guess what tablecloths they had, yes red and white gingham so I was blended in with the tablecloth all night, I felt ashamed.
All the other girls were in lovely close fitting tops and jeans and I was a tablecloth! I have some beautiful clothes they just dont fit.I must keep at this or be a tablecloth for the rest of my life.0 -
Oh no Supersaver, I just laughed and cringed for you - I've been there soooo many times, wanting to wear something really lovely, but ending up in something baggy and shapeless because I feel too fat. That's why I'm doing this really, because I'm sick of feeing like that."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hey guys.
I know how you feel, but someone once told me that if you wear something a little more fitted (not tight) you actually look thinner... and it does work.
In all my excitement of being my consultants favourite last night, I forgot to say I had put on 3 lbs
But onwards and downwards!!
I am sticking to the plan. (currently eating pineapple)

The great thing is Lucy that you sound as though you are in the right frame of mind now, whereas last week you sounded to really be struggling. I'm sure the 3lbs will be back off again really quickly, with the new perspective that you have."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

To be honest I am actually not worried about it.
So long as I stick to eating on the plan the weight will come off anyway!
Thanks you all your help again guys!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Just hope they taste ok!!
