Aw, how could you be sad with a lovely son like that, and he's right - get it out of your system and look forwards, not back :)

I got it out of my system in the form of a massive chip butty on white thick hovis with lashings of fruity sauce :o

Oh well, weigh in tomorrow night, will expect the worst and draw a line under it.

    My plan for today is

    Breakfast

Aldi make Special K with chopped banana and Skimmed Milk (HE A&B)

    Snack -Orange and Banana

Lunch - Egg and Tomato Salad with 2 Ryvita & 28g of Brie (HEA&B)

Dinner - SW Chips, 2 x Quorn Sausages and Mushy Peas

Exercise - Brisk Walk to Post office (1 mile round trip)

I have decided that if I really want to kick myself back in touch I need to state and stick to at least one form of exercise a day.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning.

Well aiming for day 2 today.

I got on the scales at home this morning and   just about covers it!!!

Still I am looking positively and the important thing is I am dealing with the problem and have an action plan in place.

    So for today

Breakfast - Cheese on Toast followed by a yogurt (HE A and B)

Snack - pineapple (2 lots) carrot sticks and some dip (about 2 syns)

Lunch - quorn sausage and egg sandwiches (HE B)

Snack - banana and aplen bar (3 Syns)

Dinner - Jacket potato and beans.

I'm not 100% about dinner, but it will be something along those lines! :D
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:

Hi Lucy, may I suggest you add to your action plan that you will only get weighed ONCE A WEEK (same time of day, wearing same-ish clothes). Hopping on and off the scales daily is pointless as your weight can naturally fluctuate by several pounds from day to day (sometimes even from hour to hout) and can be very destructive as a (perceived) gain can send you off the rails altogether.

Getting weighed just once a week gives you a far truer picture of how you're doing - if you're very brave you can do away with the scales altogether and just use your clothes as a guide!!

Also, as you've been struggling a little of late, how would you feel about ditching the bread from your diet for a week? I have been taking notice lately of how many people seem to have trouble losing weight when they eat bread and I've had one or two members stop having it and getting very positive results. Maybe it's worth a try. In place of bread of course, you can have Ryvitas etc, or just the filling part with a salad (or in the case of your sausage and egg, bulk it out with mushrooms, tomatoes etc.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

:rotfl: :rotfl: that's probably the way I'd do it too. Have a good day, lots of free food and water, weigh-in might surprise you, you never know!

I'm normally ok with the weighing thing and have my class tonight and wanted to know what the damage was so I can prepare myself :rotfl: .

I will give the bread thing a go, I don't eat a massive amount (it's not the same as an uncut loaf!!) I just didn't fancy a salad today and get stuck for lunches when I am at work.

So ideas there would be a help!!

Sorry Cleosmum, I must have thought your post was from last week - you're up to date now hun. :)

I have to confess to a few sneaky bourbon biscuits last night - I always struggle around this totm, but feeling quite pleased that I kept it in check and didn't go crazy. I will have had too many syns yesterday I'm sure, but not a huge amount too many.

We are supposed to be having fajitas for dinner tonight, but they are 7 syns each! So if I have no other syns today (never going to happen ) I can have two, but then no glass of wine.

I'm wondering about having the fajita filling but with some rice or cous cous, because that would cut down the syns massively, and it would only be a couple instead of 14.

I really like tortillas though! :o

Hi. Well done on everyone's losses and to those of us who may be struggling, don't stress about it. It takes a long time to put it on so it's bound to take a long time to come off because that thing called life gets in the way sometimes.

As for star weeks, I've given up on them. I begged my doctor to put me back on the depo injection. I figured that with everything we women have to put up with and do on a daily basis, wether it's out of love or duty, then something had to give, so I gave up PMT. Works for me.

Food wise, I am still really enjoying what I'm eating. Got weighed on Monday (haven't had time to do a post since then!) and have lost another 2 lbs, which brings my total up to 8lbs in 3 weeks!!! Have developed a bit of a thing for yogurts - eating at least half a dozen a day. Also, can't seem to get enough of bananas at the moment, or strawberries. Once over, I couldn't get enough of Maltesers and now I don't even fancy them! Must be in the right 'mind zone' at the moment. Long may it last.

Have fun everyone (best go and actually do some work) and think thin thoughts!!
