hi all - another nice day today!

I think I'm going to treat myself to a green day today. Partly because the meat in the house is going down at an alarming rate!!! I've also got loads of millk to use up - OH opened a longlife litre carton when there was a pint with an earlier date on it - men - and on a green day I use it in the pasta n sauce, but on a red day, I hardly use milk and it will go off if I don't use it up.

    So, for today -

    fruit n fibre (hob)
    skimmed milk (hoa)

    mullerlight
    banana

    pasta n sauce
    3 mini babybel light (hoa)

    muller layers - 1.5 syns
    mini milk - 1.5 syns

    2 quorn sausages
    eggs

Hello peeps! Hope everyone is well and is enjoying this lovely sunshine! My boyf has gone to Spain for the week on a mountain biking holiday and said it is raining and is meant to rain all week :D so bring on the sunshine here!!!

Well, weighed myself yesterday and have lost 2lb! Was very pleased with that! But then went to see my folks and they only had lots of baddie food for lunch so had a few bits and bobs and didn't gorge myself like I normally would and then drew a line under it, got home and got back to it...which was mega hard as I have a giant bag of minstrels which have been calling my name for ages now! But I was strong and had my curly wurly and options drink instead! Was kinda pleased...I was gonna just syn the food from lunch, but knew if I did that and had no treat in the evening, I would end up gorging and that would not have been good as I would not have been able to stop! So happy I just put the lunch down to a treat and got straight back on it!

Right, I am off to have a shower and clean up this messy house and then try and do some gardening later this afternoon. Hope everyone is well! Feel a bit guilty as really need to get back running again, but didn't sleep well last night and feel a bit rubbishy, so will get back to it on Tuesday! Take care all xxx

Thanks, I had 84g of half fat cheddar! :o I worked out how much skimmed milk I had with my weetabix and it only worked out to 3 syns max so I went for the double helping of cheese! :p

Also had a load of baked beans with it.

2 slices of nimble for my 2nd (b) and 2 extra light laughing cow triangles for 2 syns. 2 jaffa cakes so 10 syns in total for the day. Quite happy with that.

Good grief, I struggle to get through 42g on my food! Just make sure to vary your HE, if you have too much of one thing you might find it slows your weight loss (been there, got the tshirt, my downfall was too much cheese each day lol).

Also, if you are on a green day then you can have cheese as a HEB too. There should be a list in your book/online.

    Morning everyone.

I've tried to catch up with the thread after finding you earlier this week however I'm still only up to page 51  Think I'll just skip the next few and go to yesterdays posts :rotfl:

I originally joined SW last June. I lost 2 stone 5lbs up to Christmas then everything went to pot. I went back in January but then my DS had a major op, I went back to work (after a year off) and my good intentions went out the window. I finally pulled myself together 3 weeks ago and rejoined a Monday evening group. I had put back almost all the weight I lost which wasn't that surprising really :o At my first weigh in I put another 1lb on  Not sure what happened but it balanced up last Monday as I lost 4.5lbs :T
I find I need someone to be accountable too then I can lose. So can you all be that someone???? I'll have to post losses on Monday night or Tuesday following group - is that OK?

Sorry I've gone a bit awol - got that vomiting bug (niiiiiice) and looking at the screen makes me queasy. Will be back once I'm better. Hope you're all okay. Welcome to any newcomers - will add you on to the spreadsheet as soon as I can stop throwing up - same with any weight losses.

Morning everyone, well I have spent the last few days getting to grips with the diet, how to do it and various things.

Yesterday I had a day that although very healthy had no healthy extras so must improve on that.

    I had

Tesco egg mayonaisse sandqich on wholemeal bread (can't find out on the website where you can check syns (non member) can anyone let me know?)

looooads of fresh pineapple and cherry tomatoes, yumyumyumyum
can of sugar free redbull (fweeeee!!!!)

quorn beef pieces with stir fry vegetables and soy sauce made with fry light.

So, no lunch, naughty and no healthy extras, naughtier....

    so far today I've had...

2 poached eggs, a quorn sausage, quorn style bacon pieces, chopped tomatos and grilled mushrooms.... all free and i'm now totally stoofed.
Large glass of orange juice from concentrate (2 syns)

For tea I shall do a large salad with cheese, (HE) new potatos and a little butter (1syn)

And amongst that snacks of pineapple and melon to munch on to satisfy the sweet tooth!

Am i on the right track with it? finding it a little complicated as doing it alone.

It is amazing when you look at meals that I used to cook that i'd class as healthy that in actual fact i couldn't have been more wrong. Planning my first weigh in for wednesday (slimming world group-pania's bathroom ;)) so watch this space!!!! :)

Hope everyone has a good slimming day. xxx
