I can only wear this style blouse (1 of the ones I've bought!)

    9fb5_1.JPG

I can't wear the long 'shirt' style as they never fit over my hips properly, but I still need them long enough to go over my tum so I can't wear the ones with the very 'blunt' bottom, the scooped bottom is the best style for me.

This will mean my trousers are out of action - I currently wear them with the jacket......hhhmm, not sure what to do there as it will mean I'm down to 2 skirts for 4 days...I suit the cheesecloth tunic style trouser tops but they aren't smart enough for work.

I've never been a jeans person. I do own 1 pair - from Evans (of course!!) but they last fit 6 stone ago........ahem......the problem I have is that if clothes fit on the hips, they are too big on the waist, so jeans have the big 'gape' at the back, but the next size down either won't go over my hips - or, if they do - give me a nasty case of ermm.......cameltoe!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

im the opposite, if jeans or trousers fit on the hips they are too tight on the waist, :D i have no hips or bum:mad:

    food today...
    weetabix with yoghurt,

asda GFY zesty salmon-salmon used as HoB and 2 syns.

spag bol, totally free, mince HoB

2 jammy dodgers (no idea of syn value)
    packet of GFY crisps 6.5

quite pleased with that so far.

    Hello everyone
I have been unable to get onto t'internet for exactly 1 week

I have been going up the wall! Anyway, I rang Virgin Media the other day and told them they could stick their broadband where the sun don't shine, so I have just under a month to sort out another provider. ;)

I only lost 0.5lb last week (week 2 snags). Bit gutted but I did have a massive blowout on the Saturday although I've been good since then and not gone over my syns on any other days.

I seem to have 'stuck' and everything's slowed right down. I'm sure I'm counting properly and I bought the SW mag and have been making recipes out of there as we were starting to eat the same foods and were getting bored.

I know I need to do some exercise. Was going to go for a walk tonight but I have come home from work with a blinding headache.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? I've been alternating red and green days this week. Should I try eating more syns or no syns? I tend to have no more than 10, sometimes half that but I'm not really bothered about having more. I only have a week and a half before the wedding which is my immediate aim. I've bought a dress to wear and it looks okay but I still want to lose a few more lbs.

    Today I've eaten:

    B'fast
2 x Weetabix (b) with skimmed milk (a) a few blueberries and raspberries

    Snack
    Grapes

    Lunch
    Melon, strawberries, banana, pear, mullerlight

    Dinner
Chicken Kiev - 3syns - (sw mag recipe), roasted butternut squash, carrots, pepper, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes.

I think I'll have a couple of slices of nimble with my (a) allowance of cheese later although I'm not really hungry. Will probably give the jaffa cakes a go again for a few more syns. :o

Well done everyone who has lost. Hugs for those that have put on. I'm sorry some people are having a rough time at the moment.

Im not an expert superpup but are you sure you are eating enough?
There isnt a lot there compared to what I get through, could you try eating lots more of the free foods.I have about 3 mullerlights each day and never seem to stop eating.
I put on this week but that was due to drinking copious amounts of wine and shots (so ive been told), a roast dinner and cheescake but last week I ate huge amounts and lost 5lbs.
Just fruit and mullerlight for your lunch isnt a lot really.Just an idea.

Supersavershal is right, you should be eating more free food. Although you've had lots of fruit and veg, which is great, you've had very little in the way of free food specific to a red or green day (ie meat or fish if you've had a red day, potato, pasta etc for green). In fact, it's hard to tell what day you've had, though I'm guessing it's red from the Kiev!

You're doing ok on the syn front by the sound of it. Try not to go over your allowance, but equally, don't go below 5 a day. You should also be drinking at least 2½ litres of water a day.

You may well find that you lose inches even when the scales don't move, so don't be disappointed with your loss. Stick with it, don't be impatient, and you'll see results over the weeks.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Not much in the way of free foods either!!!

To be honest (and perhaps rather blunt) this isn't a healthy days eating at all, though I realise all could be put right with your dinner ;)

You could have had some protein or carbs with your fruit at breakfast (boiled eggs first or cereal with the fruit or even just a yoghurt with it) it would have been more balanced and would have filled you up for longer.

Your lunch would have provided much more had you had the fridge raiders with a large salad (maybe including some healthy extras like boiled new potatoes).

There's more to eating the Slimming World way, than keeping within the syn allowance. In order to keep yourself healthy and energetic, you need to be eating from all the major food groups every day. This means having your HEs (both A and B) and having a variety of different foods.

I hope you take this in the way it is intended - I don't mean to be rude, but please do try to eat more healthily and have more variety, otherwise you'll soon get bored and give up.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
