Well done Jinky:j I lost 1lb too, wemay not have to start our own special "No willpower" club after all:rolleyes:

Snaggles- It was the same for me last week at my leaving parties. I just did as you have said "damage limitation" and tried to not be too Starving when all the lovely food was there by eating something healthy beforehand.

    Today I am having

    breakfast - 2 slices white bread (I know:rolleyes: )! with lemon Jam, + banana

Lunch - Jacket Pot with HM ratatouille

Dinner - Pasta with Red pepper sauce and green salad

    Snacks - Fruit + Mullerlight
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Hi Snaggles,
would Natasha really know if you put out healthy food, WM sandwiches with ham and tomato, sugar free jelly with yoghurt topping, sugar free drinks. im sure you could with a bit of tweaking make this party a healthy one which will benefit everyone and it could?????? start to teach Natasha about healthy food too, its never too early to learn. i wish i had learned early, i wouldnt be in the state i am now:confused: .
No, Natasha loves healthy food and will happily join me in a carrot stick or two.....but sadly I had to put hubby in charge of the shopping because I've been working or busy with other stuff like courses all week, and to be fair he has done really well, but the things he has chosen aren't exactly healthy! :D

Ah well, it's only one day, and my 'food problem' is (or rather, WAS) starving all day then eating unhealthily at night, so if I try to stick to having a healthy, filling breakfast and lunch, hopefully I will cope better with temptation during the evening.

Edit - just to add, I think this is why this diet is really good for me - on WW I was having roughly 5 points between the hours of 7am - 6pm, and then the other 15 points between 6pm - 10pm. No wonder I only had a short term weight loss!

Actually you might like to look over my other posts where you will see that I do normally eat very healthily, I always have my HE and I try and keep my syns to around 10. It just happens today that I have been rushed off my feet and have had to 'eat on the go'. I found your post pretty bad actually, and I am glad that I have a helpful and supportive consultant to turn to in times of need, as right now you have made me feel that I should walk away from this thread and go back to doing this alone, as I had been since august 07.

See, I knew this wouldn't go down well. To be supportive often means telling the truth, which I did - it wasn't a healthy day, but as I also said, you may well have redeemed yourself over dinner.

I'm really sorry you only saw criticism, when I was genuinely trying to help. Part of our training at SW includes the following:- 'members may well not like you when you often appear to care more about their weight loss than they do'. I'm not in this job to offer platitudes but to get to the bottom of someone's problem and try to help.

Once again, I'm sorry if I rubbed you up the wrong way, it wasn't intended!

    Morning everyone

Have a lovely time at Natasha's party Snaggles, love kids parties - especially your own :D

I know it sounds daft as I'm only on day 3 but I do feel better already, stomach doesn't feel as bloated and I think that is down to not eating as much bread as I have been doing recently.

    Yesterday my day was:-

    Breakfast - Oatso Simple
Lunch - Prawn Salad and Jacket potato, Mullerlight
Dinner - Pasta and Lloyd Grossman sauce
    Snacks - Banana, Apple x 2, Snack a Jacks
    Loads of water :)

    Total of 10.5 sins

    Today my plan is:-

    Breakfast - Oatso Simple
Lunch - Tuna and pea salad with fat free dressing
Snacks - Snack a Jack, Apple x 2, Banana, Ryvita and Primula Light Cheese
Dinner - Omelette, Homemade Chips with fry light and salad

Total of 1.5 sins so far

    Does that sound about right??

I'm a bit scared about tomorrow - it's Natasha's birthday and there will be party food, cake, lovely drinks, chocolate..... and I will be sitting there with my carrot sticks and my cottage chese. If I'm honest, I KNOW I will cave in, so it's just a case of limiting the damage by filling up on healthy stuff first I think.
At least you have organised a party:rolleyes: Dd's birthday on Saturday and we ,(due to my not knowing when I was back at work) haven't organised anything yet:eek:
Bummer because I start back on saturday:o

It didnt go down well as you clearly have no idea of my usual day, you have just jumped on 1 single day when I was stressed and busy and had to eat stuff whilst on the go. I do go to group, and I have my own consultant, so please dont feel you need to 'guide' me or support me in that way. I did the best that I could yesterday when really I could have just munched on rubbish to get me through. When I said HE: 0 (oops) that was because I know I have to have them, I had been so busy I just hadnt realised I had missed them out. I cant remember the last time I missed my HE out, not this time at sw thats for sure. And please dont think you care more about my weightloss than I do, thats just barmy to think that. I have done this diet before and got to target, I stayed there for 3 months but due to my depression it fell by the wayside, I am back and it has been hard, it took me 8 months to lose my first stone. That wasnt due to what I was eating, my consultant looked over my food diaries and confirmed that the food was fine.

And my dinner was a salmon and broccoli pie (free on red) followed by a big bowl of various chopped melon. Today is a nice relaxed day and all meals are planned out.

Hi, Cleosmum, hope you have a good weigh in and remain positive. Well done for not snacking on rubbish and everything else that is thrown our way on sh!tty days like that.
