It didnt go down well as you clearly have no idea of my usual day, you have just jumped on 1 single day when I was stressed and busy and had to eat stuff whilst on the go. I do go to group, and I have my own consultant, so please dont feel you need to 'guide' me or support me in that way. I did the best that I could yesterday when really I could have just munched on rubbish to get me through. When I said HE: 0 (oops) that was because I know I have to have them, I had been so busy I just hadnt realised I had missed them out. I cant remember the last time I missed my HE out, not this time at sw thats for sure. And please dont think you care more about my weightloss than I do, thats just barmy to think that. I have done this diet before and got to target, I stayed there for 3 months but due to my depression it fell by the wayside, I am back and it has been hard, it took me 8 months to lose my first stone. That wasnt due to what I was eating, my consultant looked over my food diaries and confirmed that the food was fine.

And my dinner was a salmon and broccoli pie (free on red) followed by a big bowl of various chopped melon. Today is a nice relaxed day and all meals are planned out.

Of course I don't know what you normally eat - I don't know you at all. All I had to go on was what you said in your post, which I felt needed a reply, if only for the benefit of people new to SW.

When we are told that the Consultant often cares more than the slimmer, you have to take into account the fact that lots of slimmers start their journey full of enthusiasm but as time passes, enthusiasm wanes and they may go off the rails for a number of reasons, even abandoning slimming altogether for a while. In other words, they stop caring, but the Consultant doesn't, she will phone, write to and otherwise nag the member to come back to group and carry on towards their goal.

Giving advice which is useful to some people while seeming to "teach Granny to suck eggs" can be difficult sometimes, but if you don't want my input, I won't offer it.

I was doing so well and, no sins all day.

And then after my lovely pasta in roast pepper sauce, I heard a little voice inside my head reminding me of the Mars Bars that are in the cupboard.

Moments later I found myself eating one (full size):o

I will be:A for the rest of the day.

I buy the boys sweets such as mars/snickers but to save money I always buy the multi packs which are currently on 2 for £2 in Asda, they are limited to one chocolate bar a day but it is tempting for me knowing they are in the cupboard.

Pants I forgot I had a Blue Ribband at luch time too:mad:
    you naughty girl...what did I tell you?:D

:rotfl: please don't do that, I'd feel very bad.

    As far as I'm concerned, it's over - a storm in a teacup (syn-free).

I'm glad to offer support where it's needed, any time!

If you're going to want the burgers etc yes, go for a red day. A small jacket potato would be a HE and if they've got the salad stuff, you can fill up with that. Try to avoid too much in the way of buns - have the meat naked :D

If you pick the burgers which look most 'done' they'll have very little fat left in and, provided you discard the skin and fat, the chicken and chops would be free.

Enjoy it, you have to live as well after all.

    good evening all

well night 4 of 7 and am really worried I am not eating enough on nights - am not hungry so it is really hard to motivate myself to eat - also can olny eat what I bring and have no access to any other food so if i'm not hungry when I leave to house then I dont bring much with me.

did not have breakfast when I got up, just a cup of tea. so have had nothing to eat since 11pm last night.
have got a big bowl of pasta to eat shortly with some tesco healthy living bacon and tomato pasta sauce, with some grated cheese on top. a muller yogurt - and thats it until I get up tomorrow evening.
how bad is this if I do this for a week? I eat very normally when i'm on days, aprox 3 weeks, then eat hardly anything for 7 days. will I do myself any damage??

    please help.

Jenny, I doubt you will do yourself any serious damage (Posh lives on peas and prawns apparently so you're managing to eat more healthily than that at least - not that you'd really want to look like her...lol), but it might be harder to lose weight if you are eating very little because your body will adapt to the smaller quantity of food. You might feel tired, run down etc though, so it would probably be better to eat a little more if you can - what about adding a banana, or some carrot sticks or something, or a tub of cottage cheese. And try to eat breakfast if you possibly can - I'm finding that eating breakfast is the single most effective thing I've done, weight-loss wise.
