Hi all... I tried SW a whil back but gave up after a bad spell at home, I also didnt like going to classes, but I know it works and I could do with getting back on it, I have about 3st or more to lose. I still have the books here so any kicks up the bums would be welcome. I prefer green days as not a huge meat eater but I do like spag bol/lasagne/chilli, guess I could use quorn mince?
I really love the meatfree meatballs from Asda, does anyone know if they're free on green?
Not sure when I can start, as I don't have much money at the moment, so not able to do a huge shop but will try over next few days and commit from Monday? Also got a weeks hol from 19th May...:o
Am visiting my Nan 2moro, she always does a quiche or pizza for lunch,so that's 2moro stuffed!!
I comfort eat, it's a vicious circle,no money, I get down so I eat bad stuff.... esp in the evenings... any help/suggs would be very grateful. Oh and I also need to do this as DFW as poss.....
Tigz
ps - I don't like salad stuff either other then lettuce & beetroot. Hate mushrooms and peppers... most of the free stuff in fact!!! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

hiya tig - welcome!!
I'm also a huge comfort eater (which is why I got huge!) so I know what you mean.
There is a quiche recipe somewhere for SW involving cottage cheese and eggs. i'll see if I can find it, although I've never tried it.
is this them?

ok - 'quiche' - gathered from a couple of sites
Green Day
Make a packet of Batchelors pasta n sauce up and pour into dish
Beat 3 eggs, add tub low fat cottage cheese and vegetables and/or hoa cheese and pour over pasta.
Bake in oven for about 30 minutes
Someone suggested lining the dish with Quorn cooked 'meat' slices first as an alternative to the pasta
Red day
Line a dish with slices of ham/cooked bacon and then a layer of tomatoes
Pour over the egg/cottage cheese/cheese mix and bake.
I guess there could be variations with the vegetables used!
Might try it, I don't like quiche but this is worth trying I think!"Stay Wonky":D

Thanks Keren.... I'm not a huge lover of quiche either but just lately we've had it here. My OH could do with shifting a stone or 2 also, so on the nights he's over I'll do him a healthy meal too.
Have you had those Meatballs? They are lovely, I have them with Napoletena (sp) sauce and pasta... tis yum, do you know if the syn value is for all of them or a certain amount?
I'm down your way 2moro, we'll prop visit Somerfield as my Dad likes their rolls... exciting hey?"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I'm going to have to try them now!!!
It seems it is for 300g - I'm guessing that's for a whole box/bag? Wonder if they sell them at my little Asda.....
Edit: just checked - yep it is for the whole box and they are 2 for £3 at the moment!
Aha - yes, Somerfield on the Heath ;-)
I'vehad an invoice for the 3 blouses and paid. £14.16 for the 3 with the postage so £4.72 each. I'm happy with that."Stay Wonky":D

They come in a bag at my Asda, they are yummy.... hope you enjoy them.
Great news on the blouses, I can't wear them, the collars annoy me, I have 2 or 3 upstairs that I don't wear, but I may need to for my new job.
I love the jeans from Evans, they seem to be the only ones that fit me, I have to get size 18 but they're slightly too big but a 16 is way too small.... that's my 1st goal, get into my pair of size 16 jeans upstairs...."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." these are them Tig -
I can only wear this style blouse (1 of the ones I've bought!)
I can't wear the long 'shirt' style as they never fit over my hips properly, but I still need them long enough to go over my tum so I can't wear the ones with the very 'blunt' bottom, the scooped bottom is the best style for me.
This will mean my trousers are out of action - I currently wear them with the jacket......hhhmm, not sure what to do there as it will mean I'm down to 2 skirts for 4 days...I suit the cheesecloth tunic style trouser tops but they aren't smart enough for work.
I've never been a jeans person. I do own 1 pair - from Evans (of course!!) but they last fit 6 stone ago........ahem......the problem I have is that if clothes fit on the hips, they are too big on the waist, so jeans have the big 'gape' at the back, but the next size down either won't go over my hips - or, if they do - give me a nasty case of ermm.......cameltoe!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

How do I upload a pic?
I just suit anything that is baggy and hides all my flabby bits!!!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

open an account with photobucket and upload it to there if it is a pic of your own.
Then use the code given which starts 'IMG' and copy it onto the page on MSE.
I just did a copy and paste from the website for the blouse and the meatballs."Stay Wonky":D
