Act daft comes to mind here   . No Di, really its up to you. If they need figures then you know the figures but only from me, tiggrae etc. You should not have to work them really i don;t think. Perhaps just send the paper in and then say you don't know what you paid and let them take a look. I wouldn't want you to lose the £850.00 for this as you are entitled to this but then again thats only my workings.;)

:D thanks hun, well i'm not telling porkies am I ?:D
(Oh by the way my nickname is "Dizzy" pmsl......:rotfl: , cheers hun. xx

Marshallka has done a good job on this. I suggest you write a similar letter to Freedom's directors. The forms you signed will have said "processing on behalf of Bespoke". That is fair for the loan you first requested but selling PPI paid for by an additional loan means that Freedom did much more than "process". It is likely that both firms are in breach of the Misrepresentation Act. The good news is that these companies are making private settlements because they do want to attract the attention of OFT and Revenue and Customs for VAT issues.

Yes I totally agree with you Singlep, Marshallka has been amazing dealing with this and has done a fantastic job, with my lot too.;)

This I find very interesting to follow.

I have got the spare form (liquidators) and stapled a copy of the agreement to that, just signed the form and left it like that, so see what happens now, that way then I'm sure they will work this out for themselves and I'm sure if they do need further info they will be in touch thanks hun.;) x

They are right in that sales of insurance had to be regulated by the FSA from 14th January, 2005. When was your loan and PPI?? If they were members of the GISC before that date (as some firms were) then you should be allowed to take your complaint to the FOS.

AUto Union Finance PLC are appointed representatives of Anglo European Credit Group Limited. Perhaps you could see if they were members of the GISC too. You can find this out by ringing the FOS and asking whether either company were GISC members and also the date they were.

Just want to re-add this here the last letter/email from Click:

    Dear

I refer to your recent email regarding your complaint against Click Finance Ltd and recap our previous correspondence. The company has been wound-up and we referred you to the liquidators with regard to your claim. We have been instructed by the Liquidator to take this action whenever there is a query concerning Click Finance Limited as we no longer have any legal capacity in that company and are therefore not able to make any settlement offers on its behalf.

You now appear to be asking Click Financial Ltd to settle a complaint on behalf of another company for which it holds no liability. I am sure that you will appreciate that such an action by management would be unfair on the shareholders of Click Financial Limited and improper.

I would additionally state, however, that Click Finance Limited has never had to settle or recompense a customer for miss-selling and we have no evidence that it miss-sold in this circumstance. Your claim is that you have been miss-sold a Payment Protection Insurance policy but according to the copy letters you have provided, this policy was sold to you in 2004 and you redeemed the associated loan in 2005. We are therefore unable to understand why you did not make a complaint at that time and have waited for almost three years before raising this issue.

I have noted your comments about Click Financial Ltd being a phoenix company and would respectfully point out that you are mistaken in this assumption. The company was actually incorporated before Click Finance Ltd and has always traded in its own right.

My understanding is that Click Finance Ltd was not a member of the GISC.

Regarding the query you raised, any correspondence with Mr Teague should be addressed to this office. I appreciate that this email is not the response you would have liked but nevertheless we feel this is the correct response given the circumstances

    Yours sincerely

I have reason to believe that Welcome were covered by GISC prior to 2005 and this has been announced by a member of the FOS to my mate, so you should still be able to reclaim here.;)

(I have also seen a copy of the proved certificate to prove this).;)
This person is also dealing with a mis sold PPI complaint.

Also check out this link below for further information and reasons of mis selling, and there is also a template you can use to help you along with this, but please give an explanation on your letter in full of why you believe you were mis sold.
They have 8 weeks from your letter, and please post by recorded post so you can check on the royal mail website "Track And Trace" to check when they receive this which will give you proof, also keep an eye on the timescale.

Di, it was not sold by Welcome though???

It has to be through the broker that sold the PPI

    Thanks hun, missed that bit.
They could always check the broker out with the FOS then who may be able to confirm if they were covered by GISC.;)
