I would write back and reiterate your original complaint and say that its irrelevant to the fact that you were MISSOLD this PPI by themselves. The questionaire was not given to you at the time of taking out your catalogue so why should it matter now!
Good point made Marshallka.;)
And quite right too - why fill in that questionaire now after all these years ?
I would definately sort these muppets out !!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Marshallka do you remember that post you posted regarding Click and all the groups they have or did have hun ?
I may have missed it while searching just now, or do you remember where you found all the info on them ? Thanks hun.:D xThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just been looking at my Co-op agreements and noticed that only two of them are actually signed by the bank. They sent them to me twice and one says "X me" on it as the banks signature and then when they sent it out in the SAR they have blanked it out in white. Another is just blank at the signature box. If I was really nasty I could really go for them on this. I just want my PPI back:D0

By the look of it, it is starting to seem as if catalogues/home shopping companies have not been behaving very well when it comes to PPI, either by not getting enough information about the customer or adding it at will and getting away with it. More fines in this department I hope.DS1 12/10/04

Reminds me of some of my Lloyds ones, I noticed when digging into the SAR....... , and if these do not give in on any of our complaints then I will go for them !!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Mum for one was always taking out the cover for everything she had, I told her she does not have to do this, but she is a right softie, I have offered to sort them out for her but she is not making it easy as she does not like changes.........The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have just emailed the adjudicator on my case here to let him know that I have found that two agreements were not actually signed and I thought that they should have been...:D0

Hi there
Was just wondering if anyone could advise.
I have put a claim in with littlewoods shop direct (Kays catalogue) for ppi.
They have sent me a questionaire back asking me questions like did i have existing sick cover who supplied it, policy type, start of cover, and cover reference number. This list refers to:- Unemployment cover, disability cover, critical illness cover, life cover, Merchandise cover & hospitialisation cover.
The thing is, when I first had the catalogue back in 2003 i was unemployed. I went self employed in april 2005 and PPI was just added to my statements in november 2005. Do I have to fill this form in by law or can I just write to them again saying that this information is irrelevant as they weren't interested in this information when I opened my account with them and didn't have a job at all? And it doesn't alter the fact I was mis sold the policy, as i don't recall filling in any kind of application form for it it was just added.
You need to ask them for proof that you requested this as at the moment you have not been mis sold you just got landed with it.
You are quite correct that this form is irrelevant as you didn't ask for this policy and they are trying to use this form to get you to give a reason why you shouldn't be sold it. Which they should have done in the first place and you would have had the choice to say no thanks.
Let us know what they come back with and we can take it from there.DS1 12/10/04

Good for your hunni, and so you should tell them, they need to know of anything that will help towards your case and this should really do it.;)
Thanks for reminding me to remind hubby to get in touch with the FOS tomorrow (casework section) just to see about the fast track thing, just in case.;) I may even email them now too for him.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
