For instance if your financially struggling etc, this can be most stressful for you and your family, as this would affect you all.
You can contact the FOS and request this on those grounds, and besides you have been waiting long enough anyway.;)
They may request you send them something to prove this, but not always, in my case I just send a copy of my bank statement.;)
I do hope you hear from them soon, it must be so frustrating for you waiting for as long as you have just for it to be passed on to get looked at.

While I wait for the rejection errr I mean reaction from Ocean and GE money on the mis sold PPI I thought I would look through my old credit card statements and guess what, PPI on my HSBC card now closed. also on my now closed Capital one card
Two letters gone off today to them, wait and see time again
Looking forward to the reply you get from capital one as they are next on my list as everything they got fined for relates to our PPI with them. Just don't know if thats a strong enough case.DS1 12/10/04

Sorry if I have done this wrongly - my first post
I sent template letters to Lombard going back to October 2007 - Got a letter back saying sorry you dont have a case, sent second letter in Nov and got the same response, I then sent all the paperwork to the FO who sent me regular letters saying due to the amount of cases thay had to deal with then my case was in a queue. I got the last letter from them at the end of June saying they still have the case in the queue and will let me know when it has been assigned to a case worker. I have phone twice since then just to be told the same thing!!! Is anyone else experiencing the same dealy??
Something needs sorting at the FOS by the looks of things.
Why is it taking so long for them to look into complaints when we are all complaining about the same things.0 -

Evening everyone,
Received a response from CSL, basically saying it was up to me to decide if I wanted PPI, but all I can remember is the salesman asking me how much, I wanted to pay each month, and I told him about £50, he then came back with all the paperwork filled in for me to sign.
I was going to send the following letter back to CSL, do you think I should add anything, such as the fact I get 2 years sick pay & 2 years death in service benefit? Or take anything out.
Thanks in advance (once again)XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXxxxxxxxXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxx Xxx26th September 2008

Dear Lisa Merry,
Re: Account number: XXXXXXX/1
I do not feel your letter has offered a satisfactory justification that my policy was sold fairly, reasonably and within my best interests so I request that you look into my complaint again. If you again consider that you did not mis-sell PPI, can you please advise that this is your final response.
If I do not receive a more favorable response within 14 days I shall be taking my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.
Yours faithfully,

Evening all, just wanted to let you know that I received a letter today from the FOS to acknowledge receipt of my letter for fast track but nothing else. Is this their usual response?0

Evening all, just wanted to let you know that I received a letter today from the FOS to acknowledge receipt of my letter for fast track but no other comments. Is this their usual response?
I currently have an outstanding loan with Black Horse Finance which I have defaulted on due to financial difficulties, if they decide to uphold the complaint from FOS will they take out the money that I owe to date? I am in 3 months arrears but making small monthly payments.0
