  • Sorry if I have done this wrongly - my first post

I sent template letters to Lombard going back to October 2007 - Got a letter back saying sorry you dont have a case, sent second letter in Nov and got the same response, I then sent all the paperwork to the FO who sent me regular letters saying due to the amount of cases thay had to deal with then my case was in a queue. I got the last letter from them at the end of June saying they still have the case in the queue and will let me know when it has been assigned to a case worker. I have phone twice since then just to be told the same thing!!! Is anyone else experiencing the same dealy??

yes it says purely a gesture of goodwill
I would wait for tiggrae to come on later. Definately do not accept this and if necessary you may need to take it to the FOS. You need a final response and if they have not given you one maybe (cause of the date being after 2005) its just another letter to them and then they will pay the lot.

Over how many months was the original loan and also what is happening with the loan after and the APR??

How are they treating this?? Goodwill gesture - misselling???

Also what is the actual offer. I don't understand as usually they cancel the old loan and then redo a new one??

Hun in case you missed this with me butting in posts :o lol, Sue states it was a Gesture of Goodwill.;)

    Hi there
And Blimey........ , so basically what your saying this is still in the queue waiting to be passed onto the Adjudicator ?

Golly almost a year just waiting - and still on the first stage - well almost.... .

I know one of mine had taken 14 months - but that was from start to finish, surely this is so slow !!!

Wonder if you may be in the position to push this for fast track ??

    Thanks for posting hun.

Just coming back in after editing.
Just re-read your post and must have mis read it at first - apologies.
So basically this has been going on from the time of complaining to the firm to now that of the FOS. (not just with the FOS all that time).
Still request fast tracking hun, it maybe worth your while.

You are doing this right hun, and keep at them, you will get there.;)

If you have not received your final response yet, write back and tell them that you are not satisified with their response and you are now preparing to complain to the Financial ombudsman service.

Good luck, keep us uptodate, where we can keep guiding you to the next step.

For instance if your financially struggling etc, this can be most stressful for you and your family, as this would affect you all.
You can contact the FOS and request this on those grounds, and besides you have been waiting long enough anyway.;)

They may request you send them something to prove this, but not always, in my case I just send a copy of my bank statement.;)

I do hope you hear from them soon, it must be so frustrating for you waiting for as long as you have just for it to be passed on to get looked at.
