I think there is some sort of hold up here as to what can and cannot be dealt with and also what dates are important perhaps. I have sent this in as Barclays this time and not FIrstplus as tiggrae advised. Perhaps there is still a hold up with FIrstplus with the FOS due to something that went on a while back. I don't know.
Something is going on but i have yet to find out??
Regarding the holdup with FP/FOS I was thinking just that because isn't there supposed to be some sort of dispute between them at the moment ?The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Definately take this further. When was the loan and PPi and was it actually Firstplus that sold it to you??
They are not going to admit anything yet...was the offer a goodwill thing. Post details of the loan etc and someone can help.0 -

Hi there Sue
To be honest if you feel you have a strong case here I would defo try to reclaim this on a mis sold basis, this amount will differ to the amount they are offering you I would think.;)
I know you have tried twice and if this was their final response, and you feel this is not right with the offer I would take it to the FOS.
However, please could you let me know when you had taken out this loan just to be sure they were covered, otherwise their offer may be your only choice if not court action.
Despite my opinion here maybe the others can guide you with this one hun with their experience.;)
Good luck!
Di.
