Yep I'm sure this is what I had read on too.

I will question this to them and even mention about the 6 years.;)
I can bet on the fact that they have the records of all ongoing loans that were older than 6 years though.

Surely if Clicks records were not in order then that alone proves them (the directors) to be not fit.

That is all keep reading on all this stuff.

Yeah, right, they are not to blame.

    Hi

This is obviously very complicated and the posts keep moving it is very confusing. Have you talked to Tiggrae. Does she have any advice. I do not know the figures but if they are large have you thought of going down the legal line, or would that not work. Am just thinking it may sort this out for you, it must be driving you bonkers.

Did you ever receive the letter from the liquidators to also confirm about Picture not trading anymore hun ?
If you don't mind me asking but who are their liquidators ?

If they sent you a letter did they also enclose a claim form ?

Thanks hun, its just that we have also received a claim form from their liquidators "begbies & traynor" and this is making me think that this is why they have not gone into default yet ?? (regarding twopart/eloan).

Sorry Di for the delay in replying bedtime for 2 of my angels took over!

Got a letter from Target about Picture not trading and told to go to the FSCS with my claim.x

  • Hi Di and Marshallka,

I'm back for more advice!! just to recap had single rate PPI which we paid back early in full so am asking for the extra back.

We are corresponding with the 'lovely' people at Bespoke Fiance in Gib, at least we are trying too! I cant get anyone to take my call and have sent off a reminder letter from our complaint as we have had no acknowledgement.

Just want to know what should happen next? do I need to give them more time to reply as they are in Gib? or can I make complaint to FOS? how long should I wait to do this?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to play to the rules!!

Have you actually received a letter back from Bespoke yet??

You have to give them 8 weeks to respond to it. DId you make your own complaint to them. You will not be able to go to the FOS really for this Bespoke thing at all as they are not on the FSA register and all complaints that go to the FOS need to be FSA registered of a member of the GISC and Bespoke were neither. I would certainly make the FOS aware of this though and also the fact that you did not know anything of these Bespoke finance people when you took out the loan.

What have you done so far. Let me know exactly.

Where have you tried to call them??

Also perhaps a complaint in the FSC in GIB too just to ask if this was legal etc.

  • I wrote to freedom fianance at the beginning of August and they wrote back on 14.08.08 to say they didnt do the PPI and bespoke did, they confirmed that they had forwarded my complaint to them.

I hadnt received an acknowledgement from bespoke about my compaint so I wrote again on 09.09.08 asking for them to confirm receipt and to deal with my complaint.

I called on 12.09.08 to see of they had received my letter and no-one would take my call.

If I cant complain to the FOS then what are the other options? would I have to take them to court?

    Thanks for your help.

The problem that we have with this company is that you can use the english courts to hold the hearing but if you win and bespoke don't pay up then the english baliffs have no jurisdiction in Gibraltar. It stinks really.

Where did you call and who did you ask for?

I would just keep on at them and also keep on at Freedom too. You were not made aware of this company were you? Do you have any paperwork with Bespoke's name in the smallprint and also where they are based?

Something needs doing about all these smallprint Gib companies.
