How many claims have you had/got Di altogether. We only had the two really. Have you applied for fast track again.

Two out of the way done and dusted which was Nemo and Liverpool Victoria.

Now have a Lloyds TSB CC (PPI) complaint in with FOS, hubby has 2 of his in for the same reasons.

I have Endeavour to sort out, Click, Eloan and about 4 loans ppi complaints again with Lloyds tsb, too many to think about in one go, but will get there eventually.;)

Regarding fast track this time I had nothing to prove, but I will with the others because since my hubby has been on the sick times are getting tough again.

I thought you could get it fast tracked like your other one. Can you not ask about it and send in details of your other and that your circumstances have not changed.

Thanks for bringing this up hun, your right, now hubby is on the sick and its only SSP, and with loads of bills etc to pay then I could actually bring this up, well done hunni now why on earth didn't I think of that ?:o
(His works only pay the SSP unfortunately).

    Cheers so much. :D .

Hi hun, so this is the letter to let you know that they have received your letter of complaint, so now that they have confirmed this - still count 8 weeks as from that date of the letter you sent.
Good luck hope this goes in your favour.;)

(This may be a standard letter they sent to all the complainants), maybe.

Thanks for your help yet again. I've just been reading through some of the success from Halifax, so I'll keep fingers and everything else crossed.
    Cheers.

Yeah, this is a normal reply to your first letter. A standard fob off usually and also a stalling method. (It gives them more time to keep your money.)

Just have to wait now and you will receive a final response within the 8 weeks and we will take it from there. It is quite normal.

    Hope you win.;)

    Cheers once again Marshallka.
I'm trying to be positive after reading some of the successes from the Halifax.
I hope I dont have to go any further with it and they just agree to pay up.
    Thanks:beer:

Sorry to go on about all my claims hun......:o , but with the Click I will have to wait for others to also get back to me as you know, then I will have to concentrate on that Endeavour complaint, but my only issues are making sure I word this properly, it should be okay because they are aware of the matter but must remember to just mention "unfair rebate" no mistakes made.

And I do have a good feeling about yours too and do really hope I'm right here.
You have worked very hard dealing with everyone elses (and mine) and its the least you deserve after all your solid hard work gone into this.;)

Gosh Di, you have a lot to come back then if you win them all.

We made the mistake after Firstplus and co-op loans of putting everything onto our mortgage and took a mortgage with Intelligent Finance (not so intelligent in our case) and had a big borrowing that was about 5 times our salary. We now have had to (since Jan of 2008) put it onto interest only option as we could no way afford it. I really wish we had never done this but we had no choice. After Firstplus put us so far in debt it was too difficult to get on top of things again. That is where it all started really and having these PPI policies forced upon us has not helped at all. It made me so ill in 2003. I felt like we were in a deep pit and we were. I have flashbacks of the Firstplus loan and each time trying to pay them off and then them telling us the settlement and knowing that we could not afford to get a remortgage to pay them off. After making 14months repayments of £290 and then requesting a settlement again it had only been reduced by about £300 and i never could understand and each time them offering us more money. Inever understood about these premiums being front end loaded and they never told me the reason why, they always blamed rule 78 being the way it was settled.

Di, if you had your other one on the fast track (after 12 months you said you then applied for it didn't you - or was it Laini??? or someone on here said that after 12 months they asked for the fast track???) then surely they will do the same again. Lots on here ask for fast track and why shouldn't you. Laini is always telling everyone to do it. If you are struggling then you need to let them know. At least some of these smaller ones being settled can help for Christmas and the bigger ones may take a little longer but you will get there in the end, i am sure. Go for it Di. You can only but ask.;)

Hunni, don't worry now, I know how you feel here, although we were just lucky we could get a remortgage, we pay almost £800 a month on the mortgage and that is without our separate insurances we have to cover this, but we have all fell into this trap and felt there is no other way out.
Thing that annoys me most is that then we are vulnerable and feel this is the only way out by borrowing more, but yes we have finally learnt and you know how everyone else feels because of going through this yourself hunni, easier said than done I know, but eventually everything will fall into place.;)

I know of many that have just gone to interest paying mortgage and if its the only way then we would have to go for this option too and its keeping a roof over your head, even though I can understand how difficult this must have been for you.
My sister fell into that position too after a break-up of marriage with also 5 kids.

You deserve at least that medal hun, you have been here for others and have been amazing especially with what you have had to deal with yourself, everyone here appreciates you and I can't blame them, your a star, and have a great talent here, keep it up hun, your doing brilliant.;)

    Thanks hun.
To what I can remember I did request fast track from the start (with Nemo) because we did get into heck of a mess financially.

Now come to think of it I may have mentioned about fast track to Laini here or over the road when her complaint was already with the FOS, not unless it was someone else I had informed. (Maybe Laini could confirm this later) ;) , but yep I will do this first thing Monday.;) Cheers hun and isn't it rather silly of me to forget when I have been telling others to do this ? lol.....:o :D .
