Just to say morning all. Feel a little better today after having early night and shower and rising late:o . Ahh well, glad to hear someone has the nice weather again. We had it nice here yesterday but not much sun today although it isn't raining so should not complain.:D
  • I sent an email to FOS re 'Fast Track' - this is the reply via email that I received back:

We may be able to fast track complaints in cases of extreme financial hardship, for example if you are under threat of repossession, if you have lost your job or if you are living solely on benefits and are unable to pay day to day bills. If this applies to you please write to us again and provide details.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) however you look at this, it doesn't apply to us!

When i rang and asked i was told "extreme" as in dying by one person.

I really think the FOS needs more staff though and that 12 months waiting is a little extreme. It can mean after the 12 months and winning some are no better off as they have had to borrow money again to wait for their own money back. Its a vicious circle really.

    Good morning folks.;)

    Hope all are okay.

Weather good here so far, nice yesterday too, although it did go quite overcast for a little while, but as you know here in Wales last week was very bad, burst river banks, landslides, you name it, so this makes a nice change to see the sun.:D

Marshallka glad you feel better than yesterday hunni.;)

    Di.
    xx

    Hi hun
Yes I agree with you, because when we requested fast track last time, we were in that position.

I will contact the FOS tomorrow and mention that at the mo, hubby is only bringing home £84 SSP from work, I will send a copy of his pay slips and bank statements which are not looking that good at the moment, and of course he is the only wage earner in the household, we have 2 kids, okay the one fends for himself due to his age, and we have a son with autism, although he has his benefits but they are his own (DLA), I do not use this, the way I see it its his money, but I do receive carer's at over £200 odd a month and child benefit for one child and of course child tax credits weekly.

We do have mortgage insurance, this only just about covers just over half of it, as we did not get round to updating it when we changed which slipped our minds when hubby lost his last job because the steelworks shut down just days before christmas last year, none of the workers had any money until 8 weeks later, what a knock back of a christmas we had last year...... .

The job he is in now is only temp but better than nothing, money not great, but in the meantime the steelplant have new owners and he may return as soon as they start producing again and when his doctor is happy he will be able to return.;)

So yep, its not been easy but I know there will be others in worst situations than us who should go on fast track, but if we don't ask we will not get, so first thing in the morning we will be contacting the FOS.:D

SPIDERS......... , my brother who is severely autistic, he is 43 now, he used to pick them up, and put them on his arms for them to tickle him, if they did not tickle him, he used to pull off their legs, , lol...:rotfl: :rotfl:

Think I should write a list and mark it off as I go along, due to all these claims. So I know where I am.

I know for one thing, if me and hubby are successful with the lloyds tsb credit card ppi in with the fos right now then we stand a good chance of winning the others against them with the loan ppi with the loans.

Most of these loans were separate, gaps between them, only one of those was a top up sort of loan, now there are either 4 maybe 5 of these to reclaim on the ppi. (lloyds).

Thing is I would have to do these separate I imagine ?? Although they were all mis sold for the same reasons.

I have stacks of SAR on these and lots to get through, will get there eventually lol.:D

If you are claiming for the same firm and lots of loans then send a letter (one letter) for the misselling of all loans. That is what i did with co-op and then i sent it into FOS. He did say to me when he rang the other day that i had put that only one or maybe two would be something they could look at and that had i written to co-op and mentioned all loans to which i had. I will just have to wait and see. To me the misselling is with all of them but i understand that there are restrictions due to dates etc but they should not be allowed to get away with it on that one.

Lets hope they can do something.

Just got Co-op and Firstplus and then thats the end of it for me.
